Haunted By Daylight is back in 2024 and this time we had some changes to the void their use of the killer powers as well as a new void crystal for survivors but the real blood points are hidden behind the pumpkins. Each one gives a nice boost to blood points and can turn a bad game into a worthwhile one

This event is so much fun
I hate the stupid stealth crystal so much. It serves its purpose, but the smoke is too big and lingers too long.
I got a few kills on survivors smashing pumpkins at bad times.
I been having fun smashing pumpkins lol
Got up to 89k in one game. If you get the crystal grenades and use them a lot. Gives a bunch of BPs.
If you guys don't wanna kick pumpkins, go play regular game mode.

Killers have to ignore the pumpkins cuz there's not enough time. If you don't start chasing the survivors especially being stuck in the void for too long The gens will fly by. Some Killers who are not fast cannot even deposit their void energy due to the fact that genes are just going to keep going.
Don't forget that the event offering provides 100% bp bonus only for event related actions, this means that you'll get more BP from smashing pumpkins and getting the void crystals (which provide a huge amount of bp already). This is why you didn't get as much bp when you only did non event related actions (rescuing and repairing)
Killers dont get the haste from it so its not worth it

The pumpkin was at a loop so when I needed the boost to get to the pallet it came in clutch and got me the down

id still prefer the first haunted by daylight blood point amount you get from turning in your points in the void, it gave out so much in comparison to this current event
I wish they would bring back the hollowed blight, the them song is just so 😫 and where you would collect blight from the flowers and if you got enough you could get a blight skin. It was like Halloween money
Mid chase pumpkins can be useful with the haste. It's better if you play a killer that either has mobility or range to midigate the kick time if it doesn't give you haste.
I like pumpkins. The oreos animation makes it look like she is petting the pumpkin 😊
