Definitely prefer old DBD especially bc some bugs made it funnier and back then i had 2 of my very close ppl in my life still around… Miss them days n we, ll never get em back
I miss the Hawkins.. It was really funny with Micheal's mirror add-on.
I think old dbd was better but only exception is that horrible "riding on a horse" injured running animation🤮
Newer dbd seems to have less toxic players, and game has been improved since the hatch stand offs, and endgame collapse was the best thing they ever did.
Survivors were jerks and would hold the game hostage and just hide and teabag.
And they wouldn't go for hatch, and then get mad at you for just not letting them get it by grabbing them out of it.
Much prefer the hatch closing/collapse over the old ones.
Old dbd is way better then new dbd in my opinion

It's fairly old but Steve and Nancy came out September 2019 so maybe like 3 years old. The Cold wind farm map is the old version. I like that farm map better.
I prefer old dbd, yeah it was buggy but it was better in my opinion. I’ve been playing since release.

Old ambiance without hesitation.
As a new player, looking at how the game even just LOOKED back then, ignoring how it might of played, I much prefer DBD today. The survivor animations look so much nicer imo, and a lot of the older maps that were reworked look so much better today
Tbf, 🤷♂️I prefer the old DBD but with the new update, nerf strong survivor's perks and nerf the meta killer crap, the reason is simple because it was less killers that you had to choose from, but now it gets bloated with MORE absurd new killers with new mechanics and perks which destroy it for me
