Breakable walls could've worked if the loops and buildings were better designed for them, but all BHVR does is just slap them onto already existing buildings and setups, things that do not need it. I think the dead dog shack is one of the few better examples, despite still being an existing setup, you don't need to break the wall, its still shack 1:1 otherwise, but if you do it causes the loop to be shorter for better or worse depending on the killer and situation. Most of the time its either "I shouldn't break this wall" or "I have to break this wall", never an in between. I think an alternative BHVR could look at is "windows" that only the killer can pass through, a passageway that only they can use.
You know, how about just add more breakable walls, but make sure that there's so many walls that's unplayable for both sides and make sure you can make it.Where survivors can break those breakable walls, but it takes twenty seconds to break them
"So how do we make non-setup killers more balanced?" "We put more walls in so they have to destroy them at the start of the match." "But what about setup killers like Trapper and Hag? They still have to break them too." "Uhhh" "What about Nurse?" "UUUHHHH JUST SHIP IT ANYWAY" – BHVR probably when adding more breakable walls
They should make walls slammable for survivor but leave them open so there’s risk involved on both sides, and it will alleviate some tiles of pallets as well
It was probably my survivors not playing this building well but when I loaded in the only ways in were a window and a side entrance. It was like a little fucking death trap for them, they were stuck since the breakable walls were there.
Adding breakable walls to areas where it was previously open is a bad idea. It makes more sense to add them to places that used to have straight walls, like in the Dead Dawg Shack, or to weaken currently strong areas. I don't see a need to add them to locations where there's already an existing walkway, unless it's on a loop we want to strengthen. I wonder if one day we might see breakable logs or short structures used as a quick fix for overly strong fence-like structures on unusual maps. Of course, the ideal solution is to structure things correctly without needing them, but they could be useful when experimenting with new structures that end up too strong and need a quick adjustment.
There is nothing they could do, to make the game not feel dogshit as solo survivor. All of these changes and the largest demographic in the game is still being ignored.
They need to change breakable walls so that survivors can spend time taking off a few boards and turn it into a vault, then killer can kick it at a faster speed to compensate it being somewhat already broken .
Breakable walls was the worst update of all of dbd, they were made just to make strong loops in buildings weaker but they are just nonsense and placed actually anywhere its fucking ridiculous. #removebreakablewalls
I feel like if a basic attack or some killer powers like a huntress hatchet or a victor pounce could break breakable walls if would not be so bad. It would be cool if breakable walls would damage survivors if they are behide them Like xeno's acid blood addon.
Honestly cant really see the whole "they got off the breakable wall train". Like unless im forgetting a map all recent maps have basically 0 spots in them to even have a breakable wall put into it in the first place. But i will agree with how dumb of a choice adding an entire years worth breakable walls to the strongest building in the entire game
They keep micro buffing trapper with each breakable wall.

Well trapper is gonna be fun there
The foolish man will complain about more breakable walls.
The wise man will celebrate the additional progress for pallet/wall kick challenges.

Has a survoir main that's good to know didn't know about this thank for the heads up
This has to be a bug, every possible location has a breakable wall that could spawn one based on map rng
I'm assuming based on other comments here, this patch introduced a bug that just spawns all possible breakable walls?
We finally get a Trapper buff and Scott has to find the one downside. Way to ruin it!
I just have one question .
Why ?
basement trappers new fav map offering:
They should make walls slammable for survivor but leave them open so there’s risk involved on both sides, and it will alleviate some tiles of pallets as well
Maybe they should just turn the main building into one really big breakable wall! Problem solved!

Breakable walls makes more sense for 2v8 and would b nice if survivors could rebuild walls.

they need to add this to haddonfield…. happy for asylum!!

4:30 “you have to kick this, it’s a required kick”
4:32 the problem is solved
As a survivor main, killers have haddonfield so give us something 😂
This is a bug right?

I still hate that map as killer. That main building with the path that prevents movement, forcing you to go around frustrates me so much 😅
Check the coal storage map main building. No one escapes up stairs at all right now. There is now only 2 ways in and out on the ground floor
It's 100% a bug, other maps also spawn more breakable walls than intended. Coal Tower main gen room is a dead-end since everything is blocked off.
More help for survivors. 👍
Thanks, bhvr. You guys are morons.😁

This game is already survivor sided and yet they keep buffing survivors
This is actually a buff to Trapper lol
Just add breakable walls to the entire main building so they can't enter 🙂
the only breakable wall that i look forward to kicking is the one on dead dawg in the killer shack…… when im killer that is :3
why is haddonfield not getting a buff instead?🙃
wait, this is zubat's boyfriend, right? Cuh the sable in DBD>
BHVR not trying to fuck up any of their maps challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)
