Hey everyone, today we’re looking at some of the most strange and unique perks in Dead by Daylight, a bit like we did with the add-ons. These perks in general don’t get much use, but it’s always really cool to see them used in game. Let’s get into it.

I probably would've put Stake Out over something like Fast Track. They are both unique sure but Stake Out is both unique and actually can be pretty good. Much easier to activate in my opinion. It works on everything as well. I can go faster in both healing and gens and all I have to do is be in the killer's terror radius. For a certain amount of time. It's slept on too much. Oh and it helps for people who aren't good at hitting great skill checks because you get more points and progression out of it to which does mean something since it stacks up over time.
Still waiting for you to rank the Vaulting animations.
I used to think coup was garbage and while i wouldn't say its good, it is probably some of the most fun i've had with mindgames. people just don't expect it.
we need more unique perks.
we don't have enough.
most perks are all the same or differently similar.
Ever since Empathic Connection came out with Yoichi, I've been running Autodidact with it. It makes injured survivors want to come to you and get healed, and so you get free/easy Autodidact stacks.
I like your list but you missed the most unique perk in the game that came and was the first entity block perk and still the only perk that can prevent survivors From escaping entirely even if the doors are open. Blood warden. Its my personal favorite perk and i run it from time to time. Hex pentimento is my second favorite perk in the game.
Why do you have the perks covered??
Fast track + stake out = one of my fav perk combo
Flasbang should be here since its the only perk and mechanic that allows you to create and item.
TBH, Coup De Grace sounds like it could be really deadly if paired with No One Escapes Death. Just my thoughts though, I'm not really an expert on this
I'm so bad at normal skill checks. If I would have to face "merciless storm". I would probably cry cause I would never finish that gen 😆
I played with my friend and she had Blood Pact on and I could see her every where. The killer didn't get the chance to hook her because I had Saboteur and I could see her. It was really fun<33333
Thought repressed would be on here tbh
the #1 most unique perk is dead hard
Any means necessary is one
I think it would be good and fair if Mettle of Man works with protection hits as well as saving someone from the killers grasp
Very nice explanation of these perks, good video 🙂 have a nice day <3
2:33 “is it good? not really.” Sums up all but 12 perks in DbD
I use Blood Pact often when playing as Cheryl. It has a fun mechanic that basically forces you to stick to the obsession. This, of course, is not ideal when you’re dealing with The Legion, where being as separate as possible is considered the safest strategy.
Furtive Chase is one perk that has helped me immensely when I do specific tome challenges. Especially the ones that require you to “hook the obsession 8 times” or more. I could go through several matches, or I could put on the perk and get it done in one.
what about power struggle? i think that’s one of the most weird perks i know.
1:16 just use freddy if you want insane lunge attacks. 🤣
Coup de gras is not awful…its like a million survivor second chance perks
They can change coup the grace to each time a gen is complete you gain 10% lunge increase up to 50% when all gens are complete.
I think that a change of monstrous shrine to a scourge hook perk that also allows the basement hooks to be scourge hooks would be a nice change
Video idea
Map idea for every killer in dbd for example trapper in midwitch elementary
You didn't even mention my favorite part of ace in the hole, the fact that you keep add-ons when escaping the trial
im sorry coup de grace is not awful. you dont ask for non meta perks then call non meta perks awful. thats just disrespectful man.
there was a challenge in archives to hit with coup de grace and this perk was actually pretty good, it unexpectedly helped me a few times
People forget about dark devotion all the time which is unfortunate because its really funny
wow, play with your food is a very good perk and I have seen usage of it a lot of times
I’d argue blastmine and flashbang should be up here over some of these perks.
Hope you don’t mind I ask, how do you pronounce your name?
I think Repressed Alliance is interesting by having a survivor call upon the entity for help.
Still waiting on a Shining chapter
Any one here an Executioner main? I feel like I’m the only one
just out of curiosity, why did you black out your perks in this one? amazing vid btw.
merciles Storm paired with Ruin could actually be very good case it hast 20 sec blocked by the entety and goes back caus of the ruin
I'd say for a buff for play with your food just make it so the stacks are lost per hp state you make a survivor lose
this way insta down killers eat 2 tokens for using their power and ranged killers can get some better use out of it without being ultra oppressive
guilty plesure perk is Hangman's trick I just love being able to see people running to premtivly save off hook and catching them out in the open
as well as Hoarder for it lets me naturaly play off some survivor's item greed and slow down progress on gens while also giving some survivors more chances for items
3 games in a row i activeted mattle of man
Why were the perks hidden on the bottom right? Lok
Honorable Mentions to Any Means Necessary, Headon, and Flashbang.
My favorite combo ever is Fast Track and Detective Tapp’s perk that turns good skill checks into great ones. I’m an absolute gen MACHINE
I’m not even joking when I say that Act e in the Hole saved my life. I was running a support / chest build, and gave my friend a tool box with sabo addons. Later in the match, it came in clutch and he saved me, which caused massive problems for the killer.
I like bringing Ace In The Hole with Plunderers and Pharmacy with a Shiny Coin to give all the survivors potentially useful stuff
With blood pact I'd recommend a green key with the wedding ring add-on.
First it'll always let you see the obsession which gives you info and helps you stay close even through a wall or two.
Second, combined with blood pact you have a -200% chance of being the obsession at the start, so you could bring object for that info without being the obsession
I always thought it would be cool to do a killer tier list based on everything but their power. (Mori, terror radius/lobby/chase music, cosmetics, other animations, etc.) I think it would be nice to have a list where nurse blight and spirit aren’t always at the top.
