Dead by Daylight is a fun game… usually. Sometimes, things happen that make the game way less fun for most people involved & today I want to talk about those scenarious.
Quick warning: this video basically ended up being a rant about BM… my bad.

boohoo!!! BHVR removed the ability for survivors to be toxic (no macro clicking, Text Chat heavily censored, dead hard, etc.) You wouldn't last 5 minutes playing DBD in 2018.
FOR HONOR MENTIONED!!!!
As for the game. I genuinely don’t get how people can equip one build and never change it until one of their perks become obsolete. I spend a lot of time in games customising and changing my characters and builds because I get sick of using the same stuff for too long
For the baby thing. If I get a killer which is obviously still learning I look if I have an item with me and if not I give him the kill because I mean why not
Out of all things, community related ones are always the worst.
1. The rampant US vs THEM.
Many people are so brain-rotted that they simply have to antagonize the other side and paint it as the worst evil in the world at every possible opportunity. We are all people trying to have fun, on the other side of the monitor, we are all in this together, and we certainly shouldn't look at each other as if we were enemies.
2. Watch me leave.
Probably one of the most disgusting, unsportsmanlike and pathetic of all things you can see in DBD. Okay I get it, killer (be it me or someone else) lost, didn´t play optimally, maybe god forbid tried to have fun with meme build or isn´t experienced with that killer, but you don´t have to rub it in and make him feel bad because of it. If you are doing that, you are just a sad and pathetic clown.
Hi, normally i never comment on vids. But I do agree baby survivors get bullied a lot i have maybe at best 50 hours in the game and I am constantly a target for tunneling to the point where I genuinely cry and hate myself. I do bring anti tunneling perks and it happens. I am no means a horrible survivor but at 5 gens i die immediately how is that helping the community? My whole audience sees it and questions the game. My friends who stream avoid the game like the plague because of tunneling and slugging and its sad. Its hard to get anyone in the game. Why when i play killer i farm and rarely every come close to sweaty. I usually let people go cause i want the game to last… But that this rate i am worried. I wish someone would talk on the weirdest thing, why people sweat for the for 4k in ash 4. Like I am in Ash you can calm down. Its just wild seeing the player base change in only 2 months, I can't imagine years. I just hope everyone calms down during the event.
Great video but why tunneling wasn't acknowledged unless it's planned in the near future, my idea would be slowing down killer when he's trying to down survivor that was hooked right couple seconds ago my advice would be longer Bt or just something to be more protectet up to 30 seconds max after being unhooked
I hate how ########### and i awlays ######## no matter what is type it is ####### #####.
Why does it have to mean someone is like some terrible human being if they teabag, wave or hump? I find it hilarious every time I get humped as survivor and if someone teabags when I'm killer I just take it as a challenge to chase them, it's really on the player it's happening to to perceive it however they want. If you choose to believe I think I'm actually trying to hump a virtual character it's kinda on you.
Usually I agree with you but I feel those were weird takes.
People choosing to complain rather than adapt bugs me at times.
I feel like the majority of 'toxic' behaviors sabotage the player doing them enough, that they don't even matter. So the Survivor clicky clicky teabagged after a pallet stun, they lost the distance they could have just held W away. So the Killer hit you on hook a couple times, that bought your team an extra 5s to pump the gens without risk. So the Survivor 'watch me leave'd you, you can force them out so you can end the nuisance, or alt-tab and watch this video, or go to the bathroom. The only 'toxic' behaviors I think need something to deal with them are intentional 4 minute bleeding out. Just add a 'give up' button when you have been at 95% recovery for X time, and/or the bleedout bar reaches half empty.
As far as endgame chat, I think its good for the C's. Cathartic release, or compliments. You either say 'blah blah blah you are stinky irl' or say 'those were some sick snipes', but either way people can easily ignore it also. Besides, if you are letting random words from some random person on the internet affect you so heavily, I think you need to log off. If they say something harsh that rings true, then maybe don't forward your irl pain to others and they wouldn't verbally strike back with such a clear picture as to what is wrong with you. Personally I would prefer they remove the kindergarten filter they have on the game, because you can't even say 'Yun-Jin' without it tripping some censor. If you don't like what you can see, don't click the button to open chat or click the button to close it. It isn't difficult, the game is rated M, so I would hope the adult users have the mental capacity to click a button.
I actually do not mind the slugging for the 4K. But that is just me I play both killer and survivor. Also I have two questions just wanting to know your thoughts along with others.
1. How do you feel about face camping when the exit gates are opened?
2. What are yours and other peoples opinion on taunting? Like when I am playing a game sometimes I like to taunt a survivor by slashing their body or swinging my head side to side when I down them or after I hook them.
The not going too hard on newbies is the thing I really disagree with, I am a killer, my purpose is to KILL, that is why I chose the role in the first place, If Im in killing mood Ill kill, even baby survivors, you will learn by getting killed, learn what you did wrong and all that.
Also tunneling…. I have a question, I played with a custom party, last player was a kid, survivors picked me as a killer and me being a decent killer myself, I was happy. Few minutes pass by, last gen has to be complete, 1 survivor dead (yeah, bully squads here we go, 2 sec flashlights and all that…) the kid was hooked, another survivor has unhooked him and started to heal him right underneath the hook, I turned around and as the kid player got hooked 2 times so I targeted him because of him being dumb as hell, letting another ppl heal them under a damn hook, right next to a pallet!! I got blocked by them for tunneling… If I was tunneling, I swear they would cry mad… So is this normal in casual customs on LFG? I never met a more dumbass survivors, me being a solo Q killer. Thx!
Survivors who hide in the locker all game and get the hatch. It's infuriating on survivor when it's a teammate. It spoils my victory on killer a bit. I wish there was a way to tell survivors that I want to hunt their trash teammate exclusively.
DCing. I've done it when I saw cheaters or got griefed by my teammates on the hook, but if the killer is playing normally and you lose the chase and you DC? Especially at the very beginning of the game? Uninstall and don't come back, frankly.
Totally agree. Only thing i'd push back on is that chases is everything. Sneaking and not getting caught is a fun element of playing survivor imo.
As far as the playerbase goes. I personally find the general community to annoy me the most.
At this point, there are so many crybabies that it's embarrassingly ridiculous; and I think it effects general gameplay interactions. New players and the average player. To the point where if you outplay anyone in any way. You're toxic.
Look, I've been playing game for a while. I dont give a damn about whats balanced and what isnt. Doing risky dumb shit and interacting via head nods to acknowledge a good play or funny moment is the only way i have fun now.
As i said, the crybaby community masses really messes with the heads of the new and average players
Every now and then I'm having to explain to a new player that we shouldn't be matched up. They'll send a rant about how toxic I was, how one sided the game is, what perks I used, and how im a tryhard. I have literally had to say "Hey man, i get it. I been there too. Try xyz and have fun." So many times. Because you can just tell they watched too many crybaby survivior or killer main rants. This portion of the community is so loud, it infects the mind if newer players and it just continues to grow into the average playerbase.
The average players are annoying as hell because they complain about what new players do but x100 and they think theyre pros who knows best. They treat everything like it's intentionally toxic, and they've watched so much DBD content. That they will have opinions about game balance just because their favorite content creator says so. Even if their experience with the game doesnt match it.
Prior to the patch, I mained condemn Sadako. Even before Willie won his first tourney with it. Reactions to the gameplay were genuinely enthusiastic and fun. People liked it. Then again, i wasn't slugging 24/7 and using the 3 gen meta. Regardless, tho. After it became known and creators started ranting about it. Every single player i went against always complained, DC, and were angry and hateful. Even if it was legit a fun match with escapes or i let em get hatch.
I have only ever encountered 1 condemn Sadako. Ever. This makes me think that it is generally rare to the average player. Yet, because of what the comments and what CCs say. Even simply playing Sadako gets you hate and rage.
This is what I find generally affects my games and how fun it can or wknt be.
my least favourite is survivors giving up and suiciding on hook instead of dcing and getting replaced by a bot, it pretty much ruins the game for everyone else
the problem people have with the devs is that they don't have a single clue how the game they made functions they think no ed should be ran every game they think its fun to play hide and seek when the only fun to be had in this game is interacting with the other side and they are so sensitive bro who tf cares if they waste flashlight to click it at you grow a millimeter of skin like damn.
They added James Corden to Dbd
Okay! So, first off, love the video! Finally, someone is making a stand on 'boring' behavior in DBD!
I will say, however, that often times I run a "hider's" build not because I don't like being in a chase, but because I like the challenge of being sneaky enough to hide so close to the killer. It's the fun of knowing that you are so close, but still able to hide from the killer anyway!
Don't know if this counts, but when I'm playing solo queue and manage to co-operate with the randoms enough to pull off a close rescue mission at the end, my eyes roll back so hard when I see one of the others teabag the killer at the gate. That feels like they're just trying to rub it in for no reason.
Killers always sweat in high MMR. They proxy camp and use ultimate weapon to be an asshole
What I find annoying:
Russians
the devs being incredibly misguided a lot of times
Russians
No russian servers
Russians
The segment on diversifying your builds. You will NEVER separate me from my beloved Autodidact >:C
Honestly think the update is good. I started to get more skill to where i didnt facecamp before the update so it really hasnt effected me that much. You have to use perks strategically so they cant talk shit or be toxic. Havent played survivor in a while. I think the update has been a good thing.
