Tbh, I don't think adepts are too difficult ngl. I got adept nightmare before the massive killer buff, same with adept Sadako, then on my first try, I got adept huntress. Then again, first try adept spirit
I adapted Myers first try I just got lucky

I got my adept Myers on Halloween 🎃 lol I refused to do it any other day only wish I had picked Haddonfield got it on coldwind farms of all maps
My advice: get hooks like building houses in monopoly, hook everyone once before hooking someone twice; utilize slugging if you can't hook someone; getting an M1 hit on people is necessary first, even if you have an instadown power; don't use the ultra strong addons, use your decent greens and yellows; do your adepts close to after reset time.
