Trying out a build given to me by a viewer on Discord, this build is based around countering boon totems because of their recent surge in popularity, Enjoy nerds!

  1. Si I was wondering if the if the Survivor dies does that make the totem not let them use the totem anymore or you use the unlight totem this way you can boons to The totem just a curiosity question

  2. Doctor's Shock Therapy and Static Blast can both hit Oblivious survivors (Static Blast hits everything within Doctor's terror radius) but both abilities also negate the Oblivious effect. Whether that means the effect is permanently negated, completely cancelling the Plaything benefit, or it means it's temporarily negated for Plaything and then Plaything reapplies the effect I'm not sure.

  3. Maybe an alternative tactic would be Thrill of the Hunt, Undying, Haunted Ground and NOED.

    – If they try to bless or cleanse a hex totem there's good chance they hit Haunted Ground and you get an easy down or two.

    – If they bless totems, and you snuff them, it also boosts the delay on Thrill of the Hunt

    – If they bless or cleanse Thrill of the Hunt while Undying is still up, you don't lose it

    – If they cleanse or bless a dull totem then Undying shows you their aura and Thrill slows them down.

    – And if they don't cleanse all the totems by the end of the match then NOED activates and you probably get an easy down or two.

Of course you have no direct gen slow down in this build, but if the goal is making working on totems your slowdown this could work. Or you can removed Undying or Haunted Ground if you wanted and replace it with something more conventional.

This build also should work with Doctor since, unlike the Oblivious condition, Doctor gets great value out of Exposed hits. Or you could use this build with, say, Blight since he can rapidly respond to any totem shenanigans he sees with Undying.

  4. ive been playing with plaything as my main slowdown on oni basically since it came out. I dont really like gen slowdown so i tend to run chase build instead.

But plaything gives you mad value. You can get down just cause the survivor isnt aware of the demon-dashing oni right behind them, and you buy loads of time cause survivors dont like being oblivious against killers with one shots.

    plaything is massively underrated imo
