Pausing at around 5 mins to type this: while I get where you're coming and agree that folks do seem to only concentrate on the bad stuff for their side every update. I can't lie it feels like BHVR are on their way to taking the killer role out back to stair into the sunset before they put it down for good (think of that scene from Of Mice and Men) my evidence to support this is the fact haste currently stacks making it damn near impossible to catch anyone unless you're nurse in end game and the fact they reverted the healing nerfs that were going to be coming in back in dull merchants mid chapter (i think it was then) now I'm not gonna sit here and say killer as a role is already staring into the sunset but my gut is telling me it isn't far away.
I know that negativity is more "popular" but I honestly really enjoyed your nemesis video. I would personally like to see more videos like that, but even the "Penn Jillette" esque rants are still a lot of fun.
Bro- pls never stop being negative. It's in your being negative that you're funny- but dispersed throughout that comedy and negativity is something important- a genuine and personal viewpoint from which you can dispense feedback. And that's beyond necessary. Especially in a community that tends to rally behind only a particular few content creators to the point where all other commentary is lost in the noise. It's a problem- and every little voice lost in the static counts. My inner optimist believes that. Particularly when that little voice is entertaining. I may not always agree with you, but I respect what you have to say and challenge my own opinion when you do say something I don't agree with, and that's pretty rare. IMO, anyways. You keep doing you- and as for those responding with mind-numbing negativity I'd suggest: Don't even ban them. Ignore them. Let the nasty b*ches like myself (i'm aware lol) do the work for you. Responding in any way allows them victory they don't deserve. If you're gonna rise, and I hope you do- those types will accumulate like sand on the beach. Just my opinion, though. What do I know? I'm not putting in the effort that you are to be relevant in the crowd- but also, neither are they. Right? <3 your videos. They always make me laugh and that is a rare enough treat that I look forward to even the ones I know I won't see eye-to-eye with. That's a compliment. Of the highest variety.
My most hated part about this game is that all fun and interesting killers are behind a pay wall i believe if you payed for the game they at least should have a weekend to buy a dlc characters or at least have a time window for free to play players to buy them
I can't agree that BHVR do not have a bias towards Survivors ever since they removed hook grabs. Actively removing Killer mechanics is a clear sign of bias.
your Way of Ranting is just pretty funny but also actually serious criticism. So wether someone is here for the funnies or for the actual valid criticism, they get their fill.
I also really like that you didnt give up on your Dreams even when it was hard for you for some time. (And probably still is.)
Think the reason killer's will flip tf out over nerfs is because unlike survivors,killers vary in what they can do due to powers. Of course…killers have been pretty much at the mercy of nurse for awhile until her nerf happened due to how obscenely powerful she was with basic attack perks.
Meanwhile survivor parks get nerfed then a majority of survivors will just gravitate to what perks they want to use right after.
Then theres the fact that a decent sum of the community is just a bunch of unbearable assholes. Like jesus,you have people trying to justify DCing becoming they're "not having fun"(which is beyond ironic and scummy in a team based setting vs 1 person) and then there's people who genuinely must have mental issues since they'll tell you the most atrocious things and act like you caused it..by playing a game.
The only problem that I have with dbd is how the hell in the year 2023 is there still no proximity chat let alone a damn game chat. I understand proximity chat but no game chat?
