The Dead by daylight new UI has somehow made it onto the live servers.

Understandably, most people hate it.

The midchapter patch released today and with it a bunch of unwanted features made it into the game.

BHVR claim to listen to our feedback, this once again proves they don’t.

  1. Would the Breakable Walls be better if they made it so that Killers and Survivors could Build and Damage them? It would take a few seconds of time on both sides but then it would be more in the control of the players to mess with the map layout.

So like, the map doesn't come with the walls themselves, you'd have to walk up to a specific door and hold a button for a few seconds. Like there's a board you can shift into place to block the doorway, but once the board in that particular door is broken, no one else can build a Breakable Wall there. And maybe like each player only has the option to Build 2 Walls in total.

IDK. I don't mind the BWs that much tbh.

  2. People having to "relearn their movement" is kinda bullshit. It's exactly the same, the only movement that's different are 360s, moonwalking, and spinning when downed. Moonwalking and spinning while downed don't affect gameplay they're just for fun, 360s are the only gameplay thing actually affected. But for a standard chase the movement is literally no different. The only thing people have to "relearn" is how to 360.

  3. Trust me, these devs DO listen And they DO care. I've played games where the devs NEVER listen, NEVER do things like Q&As etc.

I've seen devs from other games remove things players loved, and I've even seen devs straight up tell the players they are wrong.
These devs may make odd choices, and mistakes, but there's no doubt that they listen and communicate with us.

  4. Honestly, I'm quite fond of the new animations, some people just seem like they're complaining about it JUST to complain about something, though theres certainly room for improvement. Just about everything else is ass though, and clown is barely any different.
