  1. Never use up your challenges for the blight challenge which gives a weird plant because if ring girl or the alien Pops in you can really call some glitchy effects like the map tearing apart or random pink patches

  2. On one hand, with how the community and game made me basically only care about myself

Watching this made me feel jeallous and bad at the same time,

Bad because my main wraith basically used to be u playable due to lightburn which took ages to remove and stop using lightborn every game and felt similar due to that

Jeallous because you actually got a response, more then i ever gotten, sure you wont get what you want in a patch but knowing how behavior functions, it wont take merely as long (hopefully)

  3. If they intended chests to have priority over killer powers, it is by definition "Not a bug." I don't know why they would have it that way, but it isn't a "bug" when it is intentional programming. Oversight? yes. Bad choice? Yes. But, they aren't lying when they said it wasn't a bug.

  4. Fun fact: This same thing also happens when you Play Pig but on her it´s a Buff becaue ehter Survs need to Walk more because the Jigsaw Boxes Spawned far away from each ohter or when you bring a Broken Coin they spawn Closer Toghter and Pig can guard the Boxes easyer. It´s harder now that the Aura of the Boxes are gone for Pig but it is still possibil

  5. You said it urself at the end, its a game mechanic, Mathieu has said multiple times that when in talk with license holders they separate game mechanics from visuals and power so they can tweak the game however theyd like, so to an extent it doesnt matter whether license holders like features like this one but they prob dont care anyways

  6. If you consider what they are doing to the maps (making them super small ) it doesnt surprise me that they dont care to fix or address the situation.

Sable/Dredge map is a great example of devs not considering playstyle or placement of items. 5 gens in a round with no safe pallets is horrfic design and the fact they would rather make older maps smaller and less playable than address problems with sable map and swamp shows how they dont actually care

  7. ”Not a bug”

“I think we are doing a pretty good job so far”

Doesn’t the perk Hoarder from the Twins increase chest spawns? So that means you can technically nerf yourself by playing with it, especially as those 3 killers.

  8. I believe that there should be a fixed number of chests in each trial, say 4-8 chests. This would make perks like Human Greed, Hoarder, Specialist, and Moment of Glory more consistent, and it would also allow for chests to be reworked in some way, that way if chests get reworked and are very strong, survivors cannot keep bringing shiny coins to bring more chests. This also fixes this issue as the developers can ensure that killer objects take priority since there's no chance that there will be 13 chests in a single game.

  9. "Chests and killer items use the same spawns. Chests are spawning where killer items can spawn and vice versa. Therefore, the game engine is working. No problem here! 👍" How can game developers be so tone deaf…

  10. The DbD devs are hopefully trying to fix it right now, it's just the responder that said nothing but that it was not a bug. I doubt it is intentional, though. Like with the cosmetic problem, this is probably the same thing: They don't say much, but they (hopefully) soon fix it.

  11. Technically, from a coding perspective, it is indeed not a bug. Its "functioning" as intended its just the implementation that's at issue. Even if the item is far from its supposed range, given that chests take priority its probably also intended that either item can spawn outside of their ranges (you'd quickly run into issues otherwise). This is a very bad mechanical oversight and its one of the reasons I don't play Xeno. But unless all the really popular content creators speak about it for a bit and BHVRs social medias get flooded they are 100% never going to invert this.

Also, this issue goes a bit deeper than this. All killers that spawn an interactable (excluding the Unknown (duh)) suffer/benefit from chest spawns. Singularity, Nemi, Wesker, and Pig can use more or less chest spawns to their advantage. Having a big increase of chests makes their powers more lethal from survivors needing to go father away to get and use items. With Pig it can even make trap kills a lot easier. With my main, Singularity, it actually does noticeably help apply slowdown is survivors are worried about being slipstreamed a lot. EMPs will spawn in far corners of the map from the chests wanting to be closer to gens/buildings/loops.

Bringing an offering should not negatively effect either side, and it has always been bad game design.

  12. I might be called insane but when I was playing alien with human greed and hoarder build with chest cakes and even during chest themed events I still had a blast, It might be that I didn't use my vents often but one look was enough for me to tell which vents are worth using because of a massive shortcut they provide. Sadako's case is much more rough tho

  13. Nah bro you're thinking about this wrong. We now have license to take advantage of the intended gameplay as killer.

Alien: while the lack of tunnels is a challenge, consider that Flamers will be hard to bring to defend gens/loops. Holding a 3gen may be easier, and you can run less anti-flamer addons.

Onryo: what i noticed in a weird TV setup, was they would clump up. While this is bad for traversal, survivors looking to grab tapes often find themselves Always moving to the same, distant TV. And often despite turning off their TV upon deposit, there's other TVs able to still curse them

  14. "I think we did a pretty good job" ahh response. BHVR has an AMAZING game constantly drawing new people in, and the fat ignorance they pull out of their asses is so abysmal to see.
