  1. Depipping really is annoying. You get punished for things that are out of your control. The fact that you can depip simply because you happened to get matched up against an AFK killer shows how silly the whole system is.

  2. Yes yes yes. Depipping is the worst and most frustrating feature in this game. There's no reason for it to exist. You ever see that spooknjukes video where he shows what stupid lengths he goes through just to safety pip as survivor? It's asinine. I've given up on getting iri 1 on especially survivor every month for my own mental health.

  3. The pipping system is why I never bother to climb any higher than Bronze 3. I got to Silver 1 when I first started playing, but just never bothered to go back there again because of how you could depip over tiny things, many of which being out of your control from your own team throwing the game to the killer just refusing to leave you alone from the moment they find you, just too many variables to consider.

  4. 2:17 personally I just want to see everyone’s Elo so that when people whine and complain about how unfair the game is at high mmr because of xyz reason, they can prove they are actually at a high mmr. Right now It’s all just speculation and most people think they are better than they really are.

  5. Pip system is a reason why I don't like playing Plague. Because no matter, how good I were, how cool I played, I will never have iri Chaser and Malicious. Because, against Plague, everyone either broken all the time, so game thinks, I didn't damage survivors enough, or healed by MY fountains, and every healing action remove some progress from Malicious. And also, if everyone is broken, my chases are much faster. And therefore game thinks, i didn't chase enough, so no iri Chaser for me too.
So every Plague game feels lioe nothing. Pips are rewards for me, and on Adiris I almost never can get one

  6. Yeah, to keep my opinion short:

Depipping, since it’s not tied to your skill but a lot of randomness, is absolute bullshit.

Chaser and Unbreakable emblems must be the worst ones by far. Some killers simply have it rly rly hard by default. Bubba, Billy, twins, slinger, …

3 million bp would actually be fine. Dedication should be rewarded and the only people reaching iri that way either need the bp or just love the game a lot (or both).

Overall lot of good stuff here. I’m not too sure how to execute the „all grades start in iri“ thing, but it’s definitly not impossible to do

  7. Getting 3 million bloodpoints for iridescent 1 would be such an amazing change. There are 74 characters that each have 100 prestige levels and Since each prestige takes an average of 1 MILLION bloodpoints to obtain you would need a total of 7.4 BILLION blood points for everyone to be maxed.

  8. I feel like it's intended to reward actually interacting with the game rather than just steamrolling on either side. Like for survivor, yeah you did 4 Gens and healed everyone but you were still hiding all game. Didnt get in chase, didn't go for blinds or stuns etc. Same for Killer. Yeah that's great you sniped with Billy. I love that for you, but that isn't a chase lol. Congrats you got 4k but the match was over in like 3 minutes because 2 out of 4 kills were someone ending themselves on first hook lol.

I'm just saying, I may not know exactly how it works. But when you play those close games where both sides are giving their all, it's pretty easy to get all iris I've done it plenty of times

  9. Changing the light bringer emblem in the way you suggested would give you no points for working on a gen but not completing it because say the killer is very oppressive and continues to chase you off of them

  10. honestly, i think the Emblem System is a missed Opportunity for a better Matchmaking.

People could be matched depending on their Playstyle instead of just Kills/Escapes.

Like, lets say you are really good at Looping the Killer and get a bunch of Boldness points. Then you will be Matched against People who are good at chasing and get a lot of Points for Ending Chases quickly.

And if you're a Gen Jockey, you get paired with Killers who have Games in which not many Gens Pop.

That way you basically get paired with the People best Suited for your Playstyle.

But i hard agree on Depipping. This shit is redundand ever since the introduction of SBMM. They really need to get rid of it.

  11. Emblem system is more relevant to rank a player than mmr, not because it shows you your actual rank, but rather because it evaluates your performance based on several relevant factor unlike the mmr system that is quite unidirectional. I admit that emblem can be weird at times, but I still find them lore fair than mmr which obly rewards you for escaping or killing without taking into consideration anything else.

I also think the point of the emblem system is to provide a fun match for both sides, hence why 4k slug at five gens will probably not give any pips as survivors experienced a miserable match. Additionally, if you are able to easily stomp the other side, then you're most likely sweating against someone not from your level which means that rewarding you is just as fair as giving a golden medal to a pro fighter for beating down a 5 year old.
