I haven’t seen too many people talk about the new bots added into the KYF mode of the game- so I wanted to ramble about how much I appreciate its existence.

  1. I can't begin to tell you just how incredibly fun the bots have been. Not only do I not have to worry about anyone disconnecting or throwing out insults in the end game chat, but like you said I can just have a chill time and practice to my heart's content.

Plus they are a lot more on point than I give them credit for. They are very efficient on generators, and they do a pretty good job at juking hits and line of sight attacks. Not to mention when the day comes and BHVR adds perks to the bots, it might very well keep me playing exclusively against the bots unless I truly need blood points or shards.

  2. Ima certainly use the bots for lore-accurate builds since they normally aren’t strong (most times they are actually really weak but people change a bit to be less accurate but more playable)
I will be able to have fun without caring that I lose or caring that the other side is going to think that they are the best survs in the world and that are going to put me in their compilations

  3. Huh I was gonna make fun of the people who would play singleplayer dbd which is inherently a multiplayer game… until I realized I would be one of those people. Singleplayer dbd here I come.

I hope they add a difficulty setting to the bots, smarter bots that mind game and use meta perks would be the highest difficulty while the current bots we have would be like an easy or normal mode.

  4. But all that begs the question: when this feature is great to easy the stress and anxiety…..that mean the game is overall stressful etc…..what begs the second question: if it is that stressful why not quit playing it alltogether and try something other/fun game instead of just pausing the stress?

  5. the less interactions you get with the opposite side the better it is. i only play bots since release. could not care less about bloodpoints and shit i dont gat hate messages anymore and queues are instant. i will never play vs real people again, there is never anything good that happens when doing so. fuck humans, go bots!

  6. Honestly the one thing stopping me from playing more bot matches is just the fact that, in terms of progression, which is a huge part of this game, it's a waste of time. You get no bloodpoints or anything. I'm still trying to get all my killers to p3- so even tho I might tilt playing a match where I'm getting 0 progression towards anything kinda prevents me from doin it. I still think it's a great system but I'd love it even if maybe bloodpoints were cut in half or something.

  7. Years ago I suggested creating a "killer playground" mode, where people could test stuff out and learn without all the stress of a multiplayer match. I was laughed at, ridiculed and basically told I'm a moron for even thinking it's needed or simply a nice idea with the number of killers rising. And here we are! So glad about it. Also, I watched the stream when you switched to playing against bots and must say it was really pleasant from a viewer's perspective – for multiple reasons, main being you having fun both because of some bots' behaviour (haha) and changing the mood to more relaxed. Great stuff.
Keep up the good work, Pharma <3

  8. I've been wanting bots for so long ever since seeing the tutorial. I don't know why they didn't try adding them sooner because it is true: they do help you test things and also just let you chill! Plus they won't berate you for how you play…

  9. This video could have been a lot shorter since you just kept repeating things.. As I said before though when it comes to the bots…. As long as the bots stay in KYF like they currently are. I am fine with it. I do not want to see the bots get into the main portion of the game though. Doing that will be the final nail in the coffin for a lot of people.

  10. I wasn't planning on playing DBD again for a while due to general anxiety, unrelated from DBD,
but this might actually convince me to play again n chill, I do really miss DBD.
    Thanks Farmer <3

  11. bots are such a nice addition i started playing Identity V 2 or so years ago and play it when i wanted a DBD-like gameplay experience as the community didn't anger or annoy me and they had bots which i've watched evolve over time slowly my biggest problem with Dead By Daylight was always the feeling of i am not doing well enough as a killer or playing against some more hardcore players when all i want to do is have fun so when i heard DBD was finally adding bots i got excited and was hopeful in fact i found my self actually playing DBD a lot during the PTB where as before it was that once a month or a few months i'd play the game but now that bots are a thing i've been having a lot of fun with the game and have found my self trying to get better with killers and see if powers work the way i think they would plus it's great as my only friend who plays DBD with me can finally play the game with me and not worry about being a 1v1 him and i can just test things and do funny wacky builds just for the fun of it plus it's good practice to learn how perks and killers work
