What is this video, and why is it vertical? What is #Shorts?
I am experimenting a bit with this format, as it supposedly has its very own algorithm boost and is at the moment about to possibly become huge on YouTube. I'll be making these out of various moments you probably won't see in videos anyway, often from streams, kind of mini-edits of individual moments The #Shorts format is meant for mobile and is YouTube's answer to compete with platforms like TikTok, it must be vertical and under 60 seconds long. I posted a poll earlier today whether to try this here or not, and you guys voted here
I wanted to try it out for a bit just to see if it really does work, if youtube really does start recommending them more, because then it might be a good way to grow my channel which is something it hasn't really done for a while now. It could be, it could also just as easily not be, but worth a shot right? In either case, I hope you guys will enjoy these mini-edits regardless

My first time escaping through the hatch while crawling both I and the killer were spamming to get there first. Both animations started for half a second, the killer reaching for me and then the survivor's torso fell part-way into the hatch. The animation didn't even finish before the results screen flashed in to cover up the embarrassing lag only latency could explain.
First time watching a YT Shorts/story on PC and not mobile, kind of weird.
