  1. It's amazing how i stopped playing dbd daily couple years ago and i still put Tru3 & Otzdarva on background when i play WoW or when i play something that doesn't require much concentration. I love you guys.

  2. You can tell by the like to dislike ratio in the comments that people mostly agree they are destroying their game with these changes.

It's been 2 years I think since I've played and I'm glad I removed it from my steam library. You can keep my money, get off my list.

Trash game. Everyone defending survivors. Back it up with video evidence or tournaments please. You can't? Kk thx

  3. I've been playing nothing but killer for the past week or two and I find it hilarious how much killer players still complain it's seriously the only fun role now yet instead of having fun killer players have to keep trying to destroy the survivor role completely. It's quite simple when someone unhooks you go after the unhooker and trade hooks if you do this consistently Off the Record, Decisive Strike, and Borrowed Time are meaningless even if the person with Endurance body blocks it only takes a few seconds to hit them and continue chasing the other player. Also let's not throw around the term "hand holding" when the Killer side is FAR more hand holding than Survivor.

"Try to Imagine this patch being killer" I don't have to because 6.1.0 was overwhelming killer sided now stop your bitchin.

  4. The problem is camping and tunneling off hook is not fun gameplay for survivors, just like DH wasn't fun for killers. So the solution is killers should never need to camp/tunnel at the hook to win, and it should be very disadvantageous to do it. If it's so strong to do it that killers feel like they can choose to "play nice," then it's proof that the option is too strong, like you're going easy on the survivors. I don't want killers going easy on me. Maybe this means killers need some core gameplay buffs that make it clear not to camp/tunnel, and at the same time survivors need buffs to punish killers if they do.

  5. "Killers camp and tunnel because they need to" see that's your problem. You act as if killer players are calm thinking mature 30 year olds. Ever since the patch came out I've played the game more than ever (both sides) and the camping and tunneling occasions basically at least doubled, if not tripled. And you know why? Because the killer can now afford to do it and still win because of the slower gens. Before the patch if you camped and tunneled if the survivors were even a little bit efficient you would very likely lose the game. People don't camp and tunnel because they have to True (ok sometimes they do, but most of the time not really) they do it because they CAN. Literally the majority of the camping and tunneling cases I''ve witnessed the past few weeks occurs at 4 gens. How does the killer NEED to camp at 4 gens??? Especially with killers like Nurse or Huntress? 90% of the nurses I've faced since the patch literally proxy camped from the first hook (which occurred early game) and TP'd back to it and hit the unhooked survivor.

People will ALWAYS abuse busted mechanics to win in games (just like survivors abuse SWF mechanics), you don't avoid that with "incentives", we don't live in a communist utopia or some shit. You need to put safety measures to prevent it.

So kindly keep your bullshit opinions to yourself mate. You don't play survivor anymore anyway. And if you have a problem with SFW then complain about that. The rest of us who don't SFW (which is the majority of the players) shouldn't be miserable because your ego is wounded by toxic sweaty SFWs BMing you

  6. Honestly, your complaint about survivors getting more of a visual feedback when hit by another survivor slammed into them just takes the cake for me here. You actually get mad about something like that, and call that handholding? Something as simple as better visual feedback? Visual feedback can play quite the important role in games, it's not just about handholding.
Also, I have no idea why you want BHVR to just forget about newer players. Like what even is that mentality? Games like DBD need to appeal to newer players as well, or they'll just not play the game after a few matches. It's getting really ridiculous.

The complaining about Reassurance is also golden. Yes, believe it or not, but a perk being able to hold survivors hostage is certainly a bigger problem than a perk being strong against killers, especially considering it only countered camping, but properly. The nerf was completely unnecessary, they should have found a different way to address the problem of holding survivors hostage. But you seem to like to assume that the devs are being purposefully deceptive. So in that case, they probably just said it was because survivors could be held hostage, but in reality were too concerned it would be too harsh on killer players that have to camp and tunnel to win their games. Because there would have been ways to solve that problem without nerfing the perk.

Also, not sure how people here haven't noticed this yet, but killer queue times are clearly longer than survivor queue times. Which kind of indicates there is a shortage of survivor players. Which kind of means the next thing the devs would want to do is buff survivors against the strategies that are incredibly cheap and unfun to go against. Killers just got a bunch of buffs. They are definitely more viable now, when played normally and fair. It's only fair for tunneling, and hopefully soon also camping, to be nerfed next. And then after that, when queue times go back to normal, maybe killers will have other frustrations adressed further as well, alongside survivors of course. But right now queue times clearly show that BHVR now actually has to do something for survivors again.
Also, and I can't stress this enough, but balancing this game only around comp level, or the top 1% players, would most likely just kill the game. Especially considering solo queue survivors don't yet have the information that swf survivors have, and are therefore in a disadvantage sometimes. Not to mention matchmaking being a problem for solo queue as well. The truth is, this game has to especially be balanced around the average player base. Or too many people will stop playing this game. You can of course claim that the game will die if the devs continue to also improve survivors gameplay, or balance for "casuals". But the truth, very obviously, is the opposite at the moment, shown by queue times, and all the complaints about camping and tunneling. Not sure why one would detach themselves so much from reality, or just the general viewpoints of the community. Otherwise one would understand why such buffs to survivors are a good thing. Both roles in the end need to be in a goos spot, at average.

  7. so basically I can get unhooked, use Off the Record to chase the killer who is trying to avoid me to force him to hit me. I can't go down AND I gain a stack for mettle of man. Repeat. Get stacked endurance.

  8. They should just come clean with the Awakened Awareness. It is not oppressive on certain killers, it is oppressive on Nurse. There is no one else who can abuse the 2-4 seconds of aura reading to get a down.

  9. Forcing 12-hook games will only lead to disaster. Upgrading the base-kit BT just means that now, more people will play Bubba to prevent the unhooks altogether, and more people will play Starstruck Nurse to avoid hooking survivors in the first place.

  10. Mettle of Man was just fine after the change, and was actually really OP if you knew how to use it. Same thing with Dead Hard. People just cry and refuse to use it (or more likely, cry and then pretend they don't use it).

  11. Funny how Tru can't say reassurance was a nerf and just says change. Tru just sounds more and more like a bitter old man everyday. He has no good business sense. If u have a game that takes 5 players 4 of them being surv, u kinda need to manage those customers gaming experience quite a lot. Making one customer happy per match leaving 4 unhappy is not really a smart business strategy. At the end of the day this is a business.
