The Shaman Nemesis is Unstoppable – Dead by Daylight

Hex: Ruin has natural synergy with Nemesis as zombies chase people off gens. Zombies also occasionally move people away from totems. Pentimento is there once they do start breaking, and Devour Hope is there if they don’t. Its perfect.

  1. Scott idk if youve changed something in your end recently but the audio in your videos has been cutting in/out on my 5.1 surround speakers and it seems to only happen in your videos for some reason? I just had it happen around 1:30 in this, opened a random video in a new tab and had no issues, came back to this and its still fuzzy in and out.

    I is confused

  2. I didn’t know that my fave build was called shaman build 😂 that’s hilarious. Penti, devour and plaything together can be so strong ONLY and only if your devour doesn’t spawn on a hill for everyone to see.

  3. The whole reason nemesis is one of my least favorite to face is the zombie pressure from a survivor perspective just feels like free unearned/undeserved pressure. Can't count how many times I've been pushed off a game winning gen by a zombie that the killer did nothing for. Obviously, he's not an S+ tier, but it feels like a fundamental flaw.

  4. This is my go to build for almost any killer, devour and pentimento work so well together, if you add Ruin on top of it you have very good pressure. The last one I usually run Plaything to create more hex totems so the chances to cleanse the other hexes is lower and in 90% of the matches you get even more Pentimento stacks. I also like to run Blood Favor/the new Crowd Control on certain killers that can benefit a lot from them.

  5. I hope they add another pentimento type effect but not so oppressive, I loooove the whole two bad option build where they have to leave the totem or risk penti but it's kinda just a boring perk

  6. This build seems extremely strong for nemmy. So many crucial side objectives + zombies cucking survivors from finishing a totem is insane.
Ruin + Zombies = insane gen pressure. The totems alone could turn the game into a 3v1 for a short duration.
Pentimento constantly creating more goals while becoming the ultimate slowdown + zombies 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮
This isn't a build, this is a hard carry!!!

  7. Scott in earlier video: survivors, stop breaking hex totems.

Scott now: now that I told them to stop breaking totems, here’s a disgusting build with hexes to punish them for following my advice.

  8. Yea bec this game is everything but newplayer friendly..
It appearst that you are hexed.. and the gen speed is much slower. That's all you got.. Nothing tells you what's up with that.
Would be pretty helpful to just show the killer perks/addons in the match details, after they got triggered/experienced by you. You can adjust some perks and it will work.

Same shit with aura reading. Why isn't there a status effect that tells you that your aura is shown? And the most important thing: tooltips.
Ingame tooltips which explain status effects to you.

Dbd has incredibly much content, it's insane. A pure nightmare for new players and I would like to have some big patches that fixes these issues.
or is all of that way too op for all of the veterans and comp players?

  9. I feel like Scott used to have a similar Shaman build for Wesker and Blight when they came out. It's almost like there's some sort of definitive build in the game as of now, which also proves that perks weigh heavier than power.
