  1. You know what i find positive about this chapter
It makes people like the knight more for some strange reason
I’ve heard a lot of people say
In comparison to the knight this is even worse
(For if you can’t tell i love the knight)

  2. The most offensive part of this update is that it ruined the one thing Chapters still had going for them, how different the Killer was from the last. It's constantly joked how new killers are "X-Killer + Y-Killer combined" but this is literally just a worse take on the Knights concept, its like BHVR collectively forgot the last three months of development

  3. I will say, the only thing I really like about the killer is the first person view. DbD Chronically suffers from uninspired viewmodels, we often get Freddy or Artist-esque raise right arm, cast power animations that are just so boring. I really like that the Skull Merchant has a more interactive, immersive tool that interacts with her power instead of just magically casting stuff.

  4. Yeah, her name makes no sense. She's the 'Skull merchant' because her drones have skulls on them? Her mask looks silly, takes away from the intimidation factor entirely.

And I agree, her power seems like a bunch of secondary powers put together. None of her perks are anything that interesting.
And yeah, I do not care in the slightest about the survivors

  5. Straight up my favorite part of the chapter is the bot improvements. I'm been having way more fun than I should be just seeing how the bots utilize different perks and offerings and shit, it's something I've been wanting in DBD since 2017

  6. Her aesthetic just really irks me:

First, Trickster is the only Killer who should dazzle, so replace whatever the heck that mask is with a hunk of cold, stone-grey metal. Then, make it so the mask is bolted or welded into her face – it not only fulfills the body horror aspect but showcases the Killer's instability that she would do that to herself. Also, make her human eye black like how the Huntress' or the Clown's eyes are. Now, make her slouch to show the extra weight she's lugging around with that mecha-arm.

  7. How did we go from a wesker which is a very fun and good killer all around to knight that has oppressive chasing power and only counter is to w but his design is still good to look at. To a cybernetic lady with a power that is really weak and can just be ignored , and she's essentially just an m1 killer with drones and no real chase power.

  8. 100% this was supposed to be a Predator chapter based on the new Prey movie, but someone rugpulled BHVR at the last second. They were clearly too far into development to drop the concept, so they salvaged everything they could, then copy-pasted Trickster's face onto a thicc Brazilian woman and shipped the patch to PTB.

  9. This really seems like a rushed killer on par with leatherface's release. I hate the killer aesthetic the mask looks really dumb, the only good thing about the mori is at least it is pretty fast gameplaywise, the chase music is way too loud, and power as exciting as an unsalted cracker.

  10. I thought the drones would at least follow the survivors, possibly if the survivor didn't remove the drone they would become exposed or just the killer could always find them. The mori would have been better if she actually cut off the survivors head and put it in a satchel or something that actually pertains to her name, idk why this horror game has no gore and it's pretty stupid in that regard.

  11. They need to just trash this whole thing. Keep the survivors if anything. But perks and killer. In the bin. If they release it, don’t buy it, so they understand this is not acceptable

  12. Ironically it's the lack of leaks which doomed this chapter to fail. There's no way the community can influence the development anymore, this killer is doomed to become yet another underwhelming addition to the roster.

  13. imo she could just shoot a tracker directly onto a survivor, give them a short hindered status and aura reveal and now she has a main power that makes up for her chase until they think of something cooler

  14. The dislike for the chapter is clearly widespread, but I don't understand it. Surely, even if you hated every killer, survivor, and perk coming in to the game… surely it's still just status quo right? Surely it's no different that the game we've been playing for the past couple months, but people seem to hate the chapter so much as if the game is somehow WORSE for having this new chapter, when it's objectively not 'worse'.
I personally think this killer is just fine, she's ok. I like setup killers and I like that this one can set up while still being entirely on the move, unlike Hag or Trapper.

If they make huge changes before the Live release, I think it'd be neat if the drones could flashlight blind survivors somehow, perhaps upon a successful Lock On that triggers the next time the survivor comes within direct LoS of the Drone itself while Locked On. That sounds like suitable antiloop with survivor counterplay and, imo, would be cooler than the other suggestion I've repeatedly heard of "drone crashes into survivor to damage a health state." Which is… not what a person would use a drone for (wrong tool for the job).
