  1. I think anyone who writes such a long guide about anything risks become baked in their own doctrine. There are logical points to everything this Clown main does, and he sure would destroy the impressiveness of my Clown play in a single chase—but the amount of slowdown from a perk as simple as Sloppy Butcher would slow the game down longer than the speed gained from these impressive chases. (Similar to the idea behind holding W, it isn’t impressive, but it is the right play most of the time).

  2. In the settings file you got an "autoaim" line, i always wondered if that would disable it or if it was just made for controllers, anyway great video as always otz, keep teaching us we love it, and most importantly keep imposing a positive mindset in your videos, lots of player should be inspired by your "doctrine". Thank you and keep up the great work !

  3. If he just used Zenshin and nothing else, and didn't tunnel… I'd believe his findings. I hope someone just does this instead of crutching on Pain Res and tunneling.

  4. Oh no, Otz is now complaining about Syringes… What’s next after they get nerfed? Toolboxes? After that? Survivors can no longer bring items? They just have to find items in chests? 💀

  5. Otz, you cried about CoH, they nerfed it into the ground, you cried about medkits, they nerfed them into the ground, you cried about deadhard (again), they nerfed it into the ground, you cried about scavenger, they nerfed it into the ground. Like the absolutely obviousness to continue to cry about the last resort survivors have is unreal. We get one heal from medkits and it’s much slower, self care takes a year, ds does nothing, etc. What about blight being untouched, nurse, spirit, wesker’s hitbox and grabs, tombstone, stbfl staying in endgame but no ds or OtR, facecamping, tunneling? I realize you mostly play killer so that skews your opinion but you need to realize 90% of players aren’t using weak killers with shit perks. They are sweating their balls off, tunneling one persons out the game as fast as they can and playing the top killers. So a syringe (that takes 16 seconds to heal) and a toolbox isn’t the end of the world OP shit.

  7. Not trying to throw shade on the guy, but I've face the player that made this guide's Clown as No Mither and he ended up face camping me at 1 gen after he spent nearly the entire game trying to catch me. He had the aura read add-on and I had Distortion, he would throw bottles and lose me, then I hold W to a new tile it pretty much broke his entire strategy. He caught me and then facecamped through both stages and all the other survivors were too scared to pull and just left. This is pre-Made For This BTW.

  8. DBD players: « You maniac read a 155 pages guide for a single killer?! »
DCS World players: « Just another day at the office… » *reads the A-10C’s 600 pages manual*

  9. There are so many things gone wrong in the first game… hooking each survivor twice is not a play. Be more aggressive and secure a kill early… the whole thing with not tunnel is a fantasy rule and this is coming from a survivor main 😅 i play solo and the moment i see a rep 100 Nancy, i just start to get ready for an entitled attitude. Sabotaging a rep 100 Nancy is very honorable to me

  10. I played against this guy a few days ago . The dude chased me for a while , hooked me and facecamped me until i died . Was really fun 😅
Edit : i went on his stream and just told him that was mean i wasnt toxic . He told me tunneling was necessary in the current meta, we had a polite debate :p The guy looks like he has not slept for the past 3 years tho , i guess maining clown will do that to you

  11. One weird thing that makes Coup a tiny bit better for me peraonally is that it makes me more aware of how many gens get done, because I oftwn find myself realizing, "Hey we are at two gens? Since when?"

  12. Its cool when decent player finds perks fitting his playstyle the most, and from which he can get maximum benefit. It doesnt mean to be 'a discovery', as others will not use this perk anyways. Or atleast I hope so.
Dont try to copy other's builds and pretend you can perform same, with same mindset and skill and everything. Its just not how it works. The perk might be not even the best, but it just so much fits to the player, he loves it. And Otz having hard time making profit of this perk is not because Otz is bad. Its just not how it works (x2).

  13. Maybe i am the only one, but i do love to use coup, at least on one killer.. on ghostface it is, in my opinion, the best perk you can have. Full stalk and if needed using coup on a loop spot so you will hit him 100% 👻

  14. I feel like coup should only use the token if the lunge extends past a noraml lunge range, meaning you can still lunge without using the token as long as you dont need the range.

  15. It is mind boggling to me that this game /still/ doesn't have an option to disable aim assist. It feels SO bad on mouse and keyboard, especially for people who are used to normal PC FPS game aiming….
It can't be that hard for the devs to just implement a toggle switch in the settings for it…

  16. I've played against Arinad 3 times and he's hyper negative and toxic. He camps, he tunnels, he flames the community, and I hope people stop endorsing him. He is so drimetnatal to the meta and I am begging you Otz to PLEASE stop referencing him. He is 100% toxic and not a good person.

  17. Its really the purple addon that makes the clown competitive at high lvl, noone seems to talk more about this. It might be one, if not, the strongest addon in dbd.
