The IRI add on HELPS! It is NOT required for this build at all!
The point of this build is when the person HOLDING the box is under the HEXS affect they will SCREAM because they are oblivious!
So while trying to solve it, there is a chance they will scream and you can get over there to STOP THEM.
Your job as pinhead is to keep the HUNT alive, the rest will just fall into place.

maybe controversial but Hex totems should be blocked by the entity for 60 seconds after starting a match, may not help devour but at least you'll get one or two blood favor/crowd control uses.

I will never trust a build that brings devour itโs gets cleansed normally 30 seconds into the match for me I always prefer bringing the third seal if Iโm gonna bring a hex or playing
Now this is a certified hashbrown moment
Put insidious and thrill
Because if you stand next to the box guarding while chain hunt active, someone injured with face the darkness as with no terror radius
They can't do shit
Trust me it gets meaner. As someone who plays a lot of pinhead I recommend this to you to you:
sidequest pinhead
Hex thrill of the hunt
Hex pentimento
Hex plaything
Hex the third seal (can be subbed out for devour hope)
add ons I use is typically the 2 that slow down box solving
This perk set up is reliable because even if you never get the box a single time, there's still so many things the survivors have to worry about that buys you a large sum of time to kill all of them.
I had a nice beef Sunday dinner earlier and now my farts are super beefy and savoury.
They should make it where the Hex: devour hope totem only lights up after the first unhook. That would prevent survivors from cleansing it at the start of the match.
Maybe you're not sure how hex face the darkness works but it doesn't spawn until you injure a survivor and if you down the survivor you injured then it goes back to dull… So at the beginning you know it's your devour that's gone and because you downed the survivor you also know that the one doing the box will not scream…
I had a funny game that happened with a Pinhead that I'd like to share. So im in solo queue, we load into The Knight's map and chain hunt has started immediately and we can't see the box. We're all looking for the box, and we find that Pinhead is standing on top of it. Not chasing us, just standing on it and not grabbing it himself. Someone approaches to try to pick it up, but they can't. We move on to just do gens. As soon as chain hunt starts, we realize he has Ruin, meaning any progress we get is nearly immediately undone by the constant interruptions. We find the totem, none of us can do it with the chain hunt happening. At first, my idea was to protect a Mikaela doing gens by moving between her and the chains, effectively protecting her and allowing one gen to be completed, but in a very slow rate. The team decides to go after the box once more. This time, Pinhead is attacking those who get near. One of my teammates gets hit and stays nearby, which makes Pinhead move a little bit away. In this time, I have crouched behind him and yoinked the box while he was a meter or two away. I start running. The prompt to pick up the box is gone, so Pinhead realizes quick that someone has it and tries to knock me down. I proceed to gain distance and complete it while in chase. As soon as it's done, he commits to chasing me and gets me down. In that time, the Hex, healing and two additional gens are completed. He's face camping. Someone swings by with reassurance. The other gens get done. He won't take his eyes off me at all. Gates are 99'd and reassurance player comes back with bt for the save. Two protection hits from others later, we get a 4-man escape. I've never seen a killer try to bully survivors in this way, and i think it's hilarious that he failed so bad. Not every game is as impossible as it seems.
I've been running a build on Wraith with Nowhere to run, Call of brine, Dragons grip and Make your choice. Coxcomb clapper and all seeing blood as add ons. Made multiple TTVs rage quit games in the middle of streams. Brings me so much joy to drop in their stream afterwards for the melt downs LOL . Give it a shot.
The Sedonas themed intro is great addition to your outro and Hardcore surv intro. Love it.
I enjoy that I can see the screen in Potato's glasses so I can watch his game while I watch his game.
