What Tru3 says here is exactly what these Developers will never understand. Casual vs MMR/SBMM. Back in the day with casual Matchmaking i used to Play for hours. Sometimes 6 or 7 hours in a row. Now its so stressfull, im literally burned out after 1-2h at Max. Its so stressfull. I dont want to slaughter newbies in my Lobbies as killer, im talking about variety in Lobbies. I dont care loosing a match, when next match becomes more chill. Just casual. Shall they add another Mode call it Ranked and let those sweaters go in there.
Bhvr should weed out solo and focus on SWFs and Killers. This way they can give in game comms to swfs and stop balancing Killers around solo queue, Players who play casually, but also seem to carry a lot of sway when it comes to nerfs anf buffs, things that affects win rates. Solo queueing should even be a thing really, Survivor side is about teamwork. In most games not working as a team is significantly harder, as it should be.
I think casuals caring so much about nerfs and buffs seem odd. Why do casuals care about winning and losing, unless they're lying and want to win just as bad as us who play competitively?
Here’s the thing-it’s not a narrative around dbd if the vast majority of players are asking for it. Yes, a strong swf will ALWAYS be hard to go against, but they can’t base the game around that, as honestly-how many strong swfs are there?? Comp players don’t play pubs very much, if at all… And if you’re playing against a strong swf & manage to draw, it’s showing that there is balance. I feel like I always have to mention that I am part of your community, so that u don’t think that I’m some kind of hater, as I’m definitely not-I’m just voicing my own opinion. The devs have to work for the vast majority of players, otherwise the game dies, and the vast majority are crying out for change… I’ve been playing for years now, and I’ve noticed the amount of camping & tunnelling has increased massively… I usually play solo, so gens aren’t exactly popping, yet you still get camped & tunnelled into the ground. Another thing u need to remember is this-1 killer can make the game miserable for 4 survivors, so the percentage of players calling out for change will always be greater than the few how say to buff killer… I’ve said it before, but unless killers are willing to not camp/tunnel continuously, then they’ll always get nerfed, as there’s not much a survivor can do, when the game is being made so unfun for them. BHVR know that if survivors move away from the game, they don’t have a game anymore… these types of killers are killing the game-not the survivors who are having zero fun…. For reference, I play both sides

The bad survivors don’t want to get good so the devs hold their hands with no regards to what it does to survivors that do know what they are doing.
And this is all without taking into consideration what comms do to the game.
The killer is not an ai the killer is a player and it’s time the devs realized that or they won’t have killer players.
