  1. Killers can do a lot of crappy things like this that have nothing to do with being a Pig. It sucks, but the other three players can do generators and get out before the head pop. Yes, it sucks for the the player victimized like this, but yea, don't nerf a killer just because some players are A-holes, as there is a lot more nerfing of every killer.

  2. Disable the timer if the Pig is crouch following you
They already did this with the Knight that the guard gors away if the Knight is close to the guard chasing survivor

Same principle, that if youre in her vincinity that the timer stops ticking

  3. doing this is strategy is literally just tunneling but like twice as slow and with the downside of not having a choice of where you go during that time. So even if you get the tunnel out you're gonna need a car to patrol your 3 gen (if any gens are left). Other than being toxic, I don't think this being a possible strategy is unhealthy for the game or say anything about the Pig as a killer.

  4. Traps main purpose is not to kill, it's to keep survivors busy with something else so they won't do gens. And they work fine for that end. Personally I think they should remove the randomness of traps and just make it so you need to do 3 jigsaw boxes always and that's it.

  5. i like how he t-bag the pig and then cry when he get tunneled

plus he didn't even try to break chease, pig in crouch is a lot slower and is very easy to escape, if he just stay still in a loop what he was thinking the pig shoud do? just leave? lol

  6. The chase mechanic has been weird ever since they had to change it to adress bot killers. Killers would load in with an auto clicker to swipe at the air while they stood still. You could farm chases off of them so they made it so that chase couldnt start if youre not both running.

  7. Pig personal my favorite killer to play but god yes the traps are useless. I only really use them as an additional slow down. However that clip clearly shows a problem in her design.

  8. Pig head traps are one of the best slowdowns in the game it doesn’t matter if the survivors remove it first try the fact it just slowdowns the survivors and stops them actually doing a gen in case of certain maps cause if you get a huge map good luck or an open good luck removing the head trap, cause its not going to happen, pig isnt as weak as before she is actually pretty decent now the head traps are their to slowdown survivors not kill and on top of that she can add more slowdown with add ons and perks crate of gears taper timer, ironically when people say nerf pig she should cause this gameplay shouldn’t exist, as for a fix i have no clue other then crouch starts chase and keeps you in chase or if pig is any where near a survivor removing their head trap the timer stops, but a fix i dont know.

  9. While this is a toxic play style is it really that different from camping a downed survivor for four minutes a bad tactic that likely requires a coordinated effort by 3 survivors to save them? Body blocks could have gotten him out of this situation.

I also have to question how hard the survivor on this clip tried to escape vs. document this behavior.

  10. I think in general weak characters tend to adopt annoying play styles to be viable in PvP games.
I often think characters like The Shape, Legion, Pig and old Skull Merchant are the worst to go against, because they are weak but still trying their best.

  11. Deep Wounds ought to pause when searching a jigsaw box. I had a few heads pop yesterday because Deep Wounds took them down while searching a box, making them have to re-search, but had lost that trap time from the initial search on that box and POP

Generator completed while survivor was on hook? Tag 'em off hook and apply Deep Wounds, now they have that before having to search. It's cheap and grimy, it's one of those "Just because you can" sort of things. Like double-iri Doctor: Just because you can, doesn't mean you should

  12. A lot of the changes they have made have ruined a lot of fun in this game. Get Patrick back cause he understands both sides fun, not some low level minded player survey user who couldn’t balance a sandwich let alone this game😂. Bring back SBMM and get survivors put in the same skill levels again so we can have actual fair matches again. Bring back hook camping and hook grabs, tone down most of the ridiculous changes they have made to certain killers.

  13. Yeah its been a very common strategy 5/5 pig games within the last 1 month or so have used it. (It also makes play with your food more effective) I would not buff the strongest part of her kit being her traps because it is still the strongest slowdown in the game. I feel like buffing her crouch speed or crouch movement speed would be significantly more efficient to her overall health due to her having one of the weakest chases in the game. (Pre running and coms destroys her) Increasing her stealth would help give more chances to initiate chases in good positions along with indirectly buffong her weak dash. I want all killers A tier not overally strong but still intimidating.

  14. I mean the guy from the clip doesnt have anything to say when he litteraly plays along with the pigs strategy. Timer was alredy going, i wouldve just tried to solve the box, he was healthy and not on second stage. Force the pig to hit and resett the timer, then run away with the sprint boost from the hit.

I hate when people call for nerfs when their own plays are at fault for their situation…

  15. Im a pig main. I just use traps when i get to three gens which it doesn’t take long to happen. I just have to hope rng doesn’t screw me over but it usually does because they always come off immediately. I’m just basically waisting traps that have no use. I just wish they remove the rng and make it where they come off after a certain number of jigsaw boxes.

  16. Agree that chase should be activated when she gets close just like ghostie.

The problem with trying for the head pop follow is that it just wastes so much time looking for one kill. You’d be lucky to get a second kill with that method. It’s just not worth it.

  17. I honestly think this is fine. It is basically a slower form of hard tunneling. Like yeah you can get a kill this way but thats all. Unless the team has given up or is completely stupid they will crank the other gens and get the rest out.

  18. This pig is just chilling/memeing for head pops, its not like dirty playstyle to get ez 4k or something, one person will die but everyone else will just do gens and insta get out. If i had to compare it with other playstyles i would compare it with myers tombstone piece under hook with power at 99%, yea you get done u die but its just a gimmick, not game changing variant

  19. Honestly this isn't even the most effective way of playing pig at most you'll get 1 kill so honestly it REALLY doesn't need a nerf. Think of it like this first you must chase and down the survivor, for a basic m1 killer like pig thats roughly 30-40 seconds or even longer for first chase with all resources available if the survivors are good. You must then trap them and HOPE you did it before first gen pop. You must then wait for a gen to pop not including any extra time he might still be on hook for you must then follow him for 2 minutes and 30 seconds until his head pops. By the time that happens the game is already over 2min 30 is enough for 3 survivors to finish all 4 gens remaining especially considering that gen that started the timer would most definitely not be the only gen with progress.

At best this strategy is only good for securing the headpop when the survivor is already low on time and most likely got fucked by rng having his key in the 4th box and that strat shouldn't be nerfed we should be allowed to secure kills when the opportunity presents itself. I have made some crazy comebacks by harassing a dude close to death just enough to guarantee the pop while I can spend the rest of the time hooking someone and all of a sudden I have 2 dead, that's where pig shines and that shouldn't be messed with.
