  1. I think you're great and I love that you're a Sadako believer, but you really butcher the pronunciation 😅
You say it as "suh DAH koo"
It's more like "SAH dah koh"
Both "a" vowels being pronounced like a short sigh of relief: "ahhh"
And "o" being a long o, like in note or bloke

  2. Disabling sales in Russia very recently may have made a small difference in player-base by a few hundred or thousand. I could see players from that area boycotting the game over it.

  3. It’s ironic that this is one of their better chapters performances, but such a huge flop due to other games out right now, and BHVR history with releasing broken chapters.

  4. I remember one of Scott’s secondary points stating that Onyro wouldn’t appeal to DBD’s main audience. But I don’t think he accounted for the non-western audience, who were all really excited to see Sadako come to their game.

  5. I heard BHVR will not change current SBMM due to that they worked on it for two years…
    well…
In my opinion they just nailed the last nail to the coffin for the game, DBD is officially dying because the developers are too ignorant
    good job BHVR 😃

  6. I gotta admit you won me over a lot by being one of the only dbd streamers who still release content during elden ring launch, us fans who have no interest in that game really appreciate it!!

  7. I think the problem with skill based matchmaking is that it ISN’T skill based matchmaking. It’s WIN based matchmaking. Skill based matchmaking is far more nuanced than that. It needs to be a hybrid system that weighs kills/escapes and pips.

  8. Yes its a flop the big name licenses should be bringing in new players or retaining them and it has not(lost even more players then the artist somehow and is on a new 3 year low i see recorded)

There was nothing game changing in this patch.

No new map, no changes to the gameplay loop, all the new perks suck other then floods what is only good on nurse, the killer imo is super boring to vs and tends to just tunnel out the first player they see. And the game has a slew of new game breaking bugs like FPS/game hitch issues on all platforms, no sound at all when loading into a game and perk exploites (like object and blood pact together having wall hacks and wake up what got shut down thank god) 1/2 this fast being shut down is good at least.

Boring update and it just made people go back to elden ring or whatever other fun game what got released the last month or two.

  9. I'm now convinced that DBD was implementing the hi-rez tactic (keep giving players new content, no bug fixes whatsoever) they make grofits from new players that still have things locked (perks, characters, levels) but unlike hi-rez, dbd is a paid game

cant wait until dbd goes free and hackers run rampant

  10. That’s the thing tho, you say killer perks are getting stronger but they’ve always been strong. The most recent killer releases, like Bird bitch and Pinhead were overly Op for no reason. Just sad how they haven’t even bothered to fix hitboxes yet either

  11. Is it actually fair to compare the rise of the RE chapter numbers to our current numbers? The games are in the same niche genre, so people from the bad RE game come over to try it out, then they find out how absolutely different the game is, and then a vast portion of those players will likely leave the game. So it's probably more fair to compare the current numbers to numbers before the RE chapter.
Still declining to some degree but it isn't as bad when you compare it to the peak of RE.

  12. Holy shit. When you mentioned: "It's the game you play when you don't have anything better to do. (…) The filler game." And that's literally it right now.

  13. I don't think this chapter was a flop, honestly this is the newest killer in a long time where killers are enjoying playing her. And the survivors are enjoying going against her talking to people from the ingame chat which we need. Survivors & Killers need each other you can have characters that are more fun to play as then against. And you can have killers that are fun to go against rather then play. Like Artist, Pinhead, Nemesis, Trickster people don't find them fun to go against in general usually.

  14. I love playing Sadako she is soooooo much fun, but every single game i have played since she has come out has had either hackers or swfs, and i am waiting 10-15min to find a lobby just to play a game a match i know i will hate against hackers or swfs, thats just soooo frustrating.
I just want to relax with a fun game and not sweat my ass for to get 5 hooks 1 kill every single game.
