  1. The thing is the devs are being so sensitive with feedback that they won't even communicate with us. That's the number 1 issue right now…. They won't communicate or listen to us living up to their reputation of having an ego. They feel like they know what's best for the game but update after update they've shown that they have no clue what they're doing anymore. Sucks to see this happen to a good game. Sucks that the devs don't communicate with us because if they did this game wouldn't be in the state that it's in now.

  2. They should have SBMM only for nurse blight and spirit like the same argument for DS "if you play meta then you opted in for skilled sweaty matches" (if you do gens then you opted in for getting chased). That way weak killers (m1 killers) will have casual brain dead solo queue survivors matches like before easy wins until you reach a win rate of 75% or higher where you will be placed in MMR. But one fact remains 5 years of easy 4k wins is very hard to cure in the killer playerbase, often solved by going SWF for survivors but now faced against their own skill level it becomes problematic. This will be become the norm for new players, the old players feeling entitled to their easy 4ks might have to move on or come back as all others games fail to offer the experience dbd give. I do hope VHS manages to put up a show atleast but i have my doubts as the cartoonish style will put off a large chunk of players.

  3. 4:03 : there is a duplicate.
I've found friends in DbD, surivors badly matched against my Nurse and that I let escape.
I'm kind of enjoying the game with them as SWF (from 2 to 4) in the lowest MMRs. We get camped, tunnelled, moried, … but I don't mind. It's a walk in the park compared to killer.
As soon as VHS is out, I'll get it. I've already advertised it to friends.

  4. I hope Behaviour gets bought by another company and gets half their team fired. That or the game dies and they go bankrupt. There is also the option they learn their mistakes and improve the game, but we know that aint happening

  5. Player asked for Casual and Ranked Queue, got ignored, then asked for SBMM and now complaing and cry about it, as long certain people keep pushing DBD as competitve game this kinda of thing will keep hapenning, honestly if the VHS game don't fall on the same trap DBD fall into, the game will surely kill DBD

  6. my matches as killer got better honestly , for once i am pretty much agreeing with you this will lead to them being forced to fix a few issues with the game and it's for the better in the long term honestly.

  7. The problem I have with SBMMR is that you're going to be constantly stuck in this limbo of "win a game against your appropriate skill level" and "loose the next match because you get matched against people who are better" so eventually I'm going to run out of killers I can play for shits and giggles with meme builds and then I'll quit the game until DbD finally gets a casual playlist.

  8. Fuck that What about BOOM TOTEMS Devs are stupid survivors need a new objective not add one to the killer who was the most objectives Survivors have nothing else tooo doo BUT GEN RUSH Gens are the only thing survivors Are required to do Totems is a side Gig And that aint enough time To push them off gens Devs need to re think 💭 this cause aint no way they adding a new objective to killer before survivors they need something else bro Lol This is why gen rush is Alive and wel

  9. I main nurse and even in matches where I land 90% of my blinks and have 15 second chases or shorter I’m still getting pushed to the limit I’m well aware I shouldn’t win every game or steam role players but I’m getting into lobbies where missing two blinks in a chase one gen will almost always pop I love this game and I love the friends that I’ve made but after a long day of work I don’t wanna come home and play where everyone has dead heard iron will ds and unbreakable with purple medkits It’s so frustrating, stressful, and unfunI really hope VHS is good

  10. Going to be a unpopular opinion with this but Everytime a game introduced sbmm into the game the only ppl that I have seen complain about it is the top of the player base. I'm not saying that sbmm is good or bad but when you see ppl posting matches as killer who just stop the survivors and you can tell the survivors had no business in that match it's a problem same when you see a killer ripped a new one by survivors. I have seen vids that say that's not fun for killer or survivors but the very same ppl now cry about how it will be nothing but a sweat fest you can't have it both ways. Sbmm is supposed to protect new and intermediate players from getting into lobbies with ppl like otz and umbra and the list goes on. Because you think it's fair for a new player or someone not that skilled to get steamrolled by them to the point they don't even know what they did wrong?

  11. DBD is survivor sided it wasn't ready for MMR. Just play a killer like ghost face against a 4 swf that's goid at looping, efficient on gens, and is coordinated. No matter how good you are, you'll probaly get 2-6 hooks and get 1 kill. Once you face survivors that are at a certain skill threshold, no matter how good you play you always lose. A lot of people say that you just need to get better or that you're just not playing good but that's not the case for a lot of matches like I said just play Ghost Face against a good team or play another mid-tier killer and see how many hooks you can get good luck

  12. I'm at the point where I'm going to take a break from the game. I primarily play killer and I dont want to play sweaty every match. I literally bought pinhead and all my matches with him were against sweat squads.

  13. I downloaded DBD, to give it another shot, the surv I was chasing used dead hard, my screen froze for a second and then they were gone. I deleted it again after less than one game and I have never quit a game as killer or surv before :/

  14. Funny how sweat squads only exists in tournament games until you face it every match. A lot of these content creators denied or down played the imbalance of this game and its now front and center.

  15. My experience is it's very one sided matches. Either they are unhookable or it's so easy I feel like they're throwing the game. Once in awhile I get decently even matches though but I mostly just try to have fun with the game.

  16. I've been playing a lot of duo surv (usually a killer main] since my friend has a lot of time since the SBMM, and I notice that near every game I go against killer, I'm noticing typical "noob tactics" (for lack of a better term.) Camping, tunneling, need, etc. Most of the survivors we get paired with are the kind to leave team mates on hook to die, or just generally not know what they're doing.

Just hoping its rough because of the recent rank reset, but if most of my games are still going to be filled with crap survivors and lazy killers, then either the system just isnt working or I need to play a lot more to get away from these low rank survs.

  17. Off topic as fuck but what’s the outro beat? Always thought it was fire lol. SBMM is aids by the way. If you are a good killer you will never have fun again. And by fun I mean trying out weird builds on different killers and expecting to have fun. 5 gens will pop so fast and they’ll be teabagging at the gates

  20. Am a TUR Jay follower and i tell you that video made me sad because i loved Jay's DBD streams.
But then again, i hope he along with other people (survivor & killer players) who left the game find better games then DBD.
After this video i felt DBD is at a cliff, all you need to do is just push it to fall.

  21. My survivor games have been okay but I played killer for the first time since the system came out and I’m the equivalent of rank 20 and I was going against like rank 4-1s, wtf

  22. I think SBMM in itself is a good idea since DbD is naturally a competitive game like you stated, but the problem is that it has had the unintended effect of exposing the core imbalances of the game that will be exploited by players that care about having a high MMR

  23. DbD is very unbalanced. Streamers could easily make win streak videos. But now that the SBMM matches sweaty players with sweaty players, they suddenly don´t like that they can´t roflstomp others anymore. The good thing about SBMM is, that the devs will be forced to finally balance the game around higher skill tiers instead of low tiers.

  24. 2 days after the reset I just quit. I'm either going to try to drop my mmr or legit just uninstall for a while. As for killer yea takes 10+ min to find a match at high mmr then when I do find a match I just get people who dc or die first hook. Meh maybe I will give vhs a try
