Which Killers Does the Entity Actually Like? (Dead by Daylight)

Read more Dead by Daylight ➜ https://deadbydaylight.mgn.gg

Ever wondered what the Entity actually thinks of the killers in game? Does it like them? Does it hate them? Or is it somewhere in between? Hey everyone, today we’re going to discuss those very questions. To discern the Entity’s opinion, we can look to the lore, the addons, the perks, and things like flavour text too. All of these things can help to build a decent picture on what the Entity thinks about the characters.

At the time of this video’s release the 7.5.0 update is out! Chapter 30.5 is Alan Wake. We’ve further gotten the amazing Billy Overdrive rework, and much more.

  2. Considering Demogorgon was still in the game for those who already had him, just rare and not available to be bought until the deal was renewed lore wise your theory makes no sense.

  3. Good video, but can I offer a counterpoint?

I feel like its a mistake to consider EVERY killer perk as coming from the Entity's favor. Some of those are just things the killer can do on their own. Tinkerer is a great example, as according to the description the Hillbilly is building traps into the generators to tip himself off. Remember that these are teachable perks, as in something a killer could teach another killer if they wanted to.

  4. I think the entity is at least curious about blight. From what I understand, Talbot, while having looked for entrance for a long time, was actually still specifically let in by the entity; the knowledge on how to do so given to him as he was close to death.

Talbot was another Vigo, someone the Entity didn't let in to partake in the trials (initially, anyway) but out of curiosity or perhaps annoyance. He was thrown to the void, sure, but unlike others, long before he had been broken as either a survivor or killer, making me think this was deliberate, it had some other reason to send him there. I always liked to think the entity perhaps doesn't know much about itself, and now and then lets these researcher types in, since they seem to know the entity's processes better than it does. Especially since, judging by the blighted skins, the Entity has seemed to assist Talbot in this research.

Unfortunately, Talbot fell to his experiments on the blighted serum, and with how crazed he's become he's not really capable of research anymore and is only good as a killer. With Vigo also either being MIA or retconned away, the entity has lost it's researchers (Or is letting Vigo think he's gotten away from the entity's eyes)

For Myers, if I'm remembering correctly, even the entity has 0 clue how Myers showed up. It's literally just an "Oh, fuck, where'd you come from?" thing.

And last for ghostie, he's def the favorite. It's straight up a "ey can you go kill these guys for me." "Sure." Deal. No bargaining, no deceiving, no tricking. The entity wants something done, and ghost face wants to do it of his own will, a win win for both sides.

  5. I'm wondering – how would characters react to changes of maps they consider home/close to them? Like what would Laurie and Myers think about Haddonfield rework? What Doctor thinks about constant changes to Lery's Memorial (I think that map got reworked like twice)? How Trapper would react towards Skull Merchant setting up some tech base in the middle of his forest? Etc.

  6. Wesker: my life's glorious ambition is to create the Perfect Bioweapon. It will be my Ultimate victory! I will strive for all eternity, enslave countless weaker beings, and stop at nothing to have it!!
    Entity: here y'go. Iridescent Ouroboros.
Wesker: oh. Well. Um. Where did you get that?
    Entity: made it.
    Wesker: oh.
    Entity: you don't like it?
    Wesker: …it's fine I guess
Entity: you can use it anytime. I have an infinite supply.
    Wesker: well. Okay
    Entity: you gonna use it?
    Wesker: yeah, sure. Later though

  7. My personal headcanon for Mikey is that he just kinda showed up one day and kinda just told the entity "Look, I'm your problem now. I'm gonna do what I want and you can't really stop me." and the entity, taken aback by mikey's bs was like "Damn I guess u rite" and just kinda deals with it.

  8. When it comes to Dredge, Myers and Prymidhead.

I think Dredge slipped its way into the Fog as it is made of pure pain and evil it was probably drawn to the fog when Haddi arrived and slipped through, and the Entity uses a lot of its power to Nerf and Taim Dredge when in the trials because Dredge could probably devour everything when it wants to but it creates enough emotion for the Entity to find a comfertable way to let it be with out it trying to fight back itself because it is content with doing what it does as it probably has no emotions itself.
Myers probably followed Laurie into the fog, Myers just being Pure evil with no emotion i think the Entity would have trouble pushing him out but because he Insights so much fear into the survivors the Entity leaves him be.
With Prymid head i think being made of pure emotion by James being so Powerful the Entity allows Prymidhead to stay, also probably would have trouble fighting it same with Myers or Dredge for that matter and with Prymidhead being able to Kill people even without the need of Addons speaks to its power and The Entity might acually get satisfaction from being hurt, it might even like it as you say might be the only killer that can make the Entity feel anything of its own.
IMO i think the three killers that would stand the biggest chance of beating the Entity would be Dredgue, Myers and Prymidhead and would would stand an even better chance if Blight Juiced them up, Myers not having a Blighted skin is probably because he would Kill Blight even trying to get close Myers just kills reguardless of who it is so when not in the Realm he is probably in his own place or jpgoes straight to the next trial to not bore him.

  9. I know it would probably add a bunch of time/work, but I would love if these videos had more visual/text examples from the lore to go alongside your commentary. I love hearing your explanations but it would be cool to see exactly what you’re referencing in the lore besides the perks and add-ons

  10. Haven't got too far in, but I noticed you're neglecting to mention killer appearance. In the lore, the entity tends to disfigure disobedient killers, something you can see pretty heavily on the wraith, for example. So, the fact it leaves myers alone, for example, is a pretty big indicator that it at least respect myers in some capacity.
