Haven't played since Skull Merchant came out. Don't have will to do it anymore.
i used to be feel the same . survivor didnt seem fun anymore. maybe if im playing with friends but after a few hrs that shi is frustrating as hell. so i gave up on survivor and i saw lilith omens guide on how to play blight and i tried and even tho it was frustrating when a surv would loop me for 3 gens. the fun part is that i got to learn something new and i saw myself getting better. as survivor i couldnt get much better since i spent 2500 hrs learning everything. killer can be fun when learning and not going against sweats but when youre against sweats that shit is 100x more frustrating then surv.
Anyway i guess the point im tryna make is if dbd seems like a chore either try something new that seems fun to you or just quit playing for a while. GL man i hope you will find something that brings that spark back for you!
The reason killers drop chase, is because it's simply not viable to waste more than 1 minute in a chase. Now this is not a us vs then kind of post, it's just how it's.
I feel the same, the whole meta is just gen regression, the funnest part of the game for both sides is being chased, every time a load into a game I get people with 10000 hours when I have 400 it’s just so repetitive and annoying

I play dbd for so long and right after wesker the game kinda died for me and I had to branch off and play other games, I would like to play the game but it's hard and your right, there are so many other creators that say the same thing
They’re focusing on casual killer players the most I think… the hud update really only buffs casual SWFs who chit chat while they game…
I'd just quite until the next new content comes..and don't buy anything from the scull merchant..

Whaaaaat you mean it's not fun and exciting to sit on the same gen for 30+ minutes?? Come on, that's the most fun aspect of DBD!!! EVER.
Jokes aside, DBD just ain't it at the moment. Everyone is hyperfocused on gens (survivors and killers), the killers hard tunnel at 5 gens, then camp 3 gens, and so on… where's the fun? No one wants to chase anymore, and when you play killer and actually focus on chases, you get survivors who are mad at you for trying to chase them instead of running gen kick perks.

I play a lot of killer and the reason I do "unfun" strats it's because if I don't, I will get gen rushed and bullied and told I suck in the end game chat. If a killer is just trying to have fun, a lot of survivors will just be dicks about it and be like "haha gg ez baby killer"
dbd addicts play an actual good game challenge (impossible)
but fr, there are a lot of really good games to play and stream, and if you do that you'll find dbd more bearable as well. Doesn't mean you have to start doing youtube videos about other games, just try to stream other things as well so when you play dbd it feels a little more special than a chore
this game is killer friendly and that's the big problem for the most part

People are watching too much Otzdarva man. To the point where this game is just exhausting and not fun. I want ruin/5 totem undying back.
We need less Otz and more JRM. Play styles I mean. Sick of loading in to the world championships each match – both as K & S. I knew there was no coming back when I encountered a Nurse who got 1 DC at 5 gens and continued to camp the first survivor they down.
That’s when it hit me. This game is dead man (the actual game side of it I mean)
I hope for your sake that the things you found fun in this game, that you feel have disappeared, can be found elsewhere and soon. Perhaps give the new texas chainsaw massacre game a try when that comes out and build a community there? If you decide to go that route, you would probably want to start building that following now before release with some videos talking about it.

I'll be honest, I haven't played since they released the Skull Merchant trailer. I just knew how the game was going to go and I ended up being right. I miss playing, I really do. But I'd rather not play and be happy than play and be miserable/bored.

I freaking love playing Knight and Skull Merchant as a Pyramid Head/Dredge main. I also laughed whenever a survivor DC. Guess it’s catharsis, and I like it.
I rather go on a losing streak in competitive overwatch than play this game for longer than an hour. Everytime I look at the game on the screen I try to find something else to do. It actually made me more productive.
I think it's so sad that u got to this point. I admired u very much and even though I'm a killer main I have to say I'm enjoying the game a lot. Its sad that u only enjoy the chase because the game is part chase only not just chase. As if he only chases u then how is he going to prevent the other gens being done? I love watching your vids I feel they make me a better killer as I learn so much and I also think its sad that as u said its true the more u do it the better u are at looping and its sad that u are a dying breed and that bhvr does not support that as much as they should. But then again I do love M1 killers and also the Knight and skull merchant. Will bhvr do something about it? I hope so because this game need your breed as well. I think a new game mode would be ideal for ppl that enjoy only chases for example. But I don't know what to say I'm just sad that ure not enjoying this no more. And I saw it when I went firvthe 1st time in your stream last week and was shocked when u said this there as well. I really hope bhvr will fix this somehow and make u feel special and also reward u for doing that. I can't wait to see more vids from u chases if not I know j will enjoy them.
