  1. But survivors really think you should get 12 hooks every game. Never proxy or tunnel in anyway. Never even consider going anywhere near a hooked survivor. Even if they're right next to a 3 gen. SMH. LITERALLY SO TOXIC.

  2. are we forgetting that circle of healing needs 16-24 Raw seconds to set up? and heal (16) looking for a totem (~12) + walking time (~10 ) ?
they invest time in hopes that the totem stays up for !!Atleast!! 2 heals, its a gambling perk.
if u are in an swf it can be good but if u are solo Q then Self care/BTL/Staying injured is better.
also … if u find multiple survivors the speedboost doesnt matter, you hit 1 person and chase the other – assuming 20 sec is not rly accurate alot of times

  3. totems are almost always near big structures/generators and loops. any time a killer comes to any of those structures he's looking for survivors at gens, if there are none he will leave. if he finds any he will chase, and there's not likely to be a boon at a place survivors aren't at. This means he will have to abandon a chase to kick the totem and give them insane distance to get to other loops and bless more totems.

  4. I agree that Medkits are busted and way too strong.
But they have been part of this game / strong for such a long amount of time, that "balancing" (nerfing) them would result in a lot of anger, I'd assume.
It's like PoE with Harvest League.
If you give people something OP for free, they'll get mad if you take it away from them, even if they are slightly better off than before the OP thing got introduced.

Also, I've seen Otz and Tru3 say basically the same stuff about how Medkits are broken. It seems to be something where many veteran players agree, but I doubt that Bhrv will change it much.

  5. Oh no Toolboxes are strongest item in the game. Nerf toolboxes!!!
Oh no now Keys are strongest item in the game. NERF Keys!!!
Oh no NOW MEDKITS are strongest item in the game. NEEERF MEDKITS!!!

How about skipping some steps and removing all (of course only survivor) items from the game.

  6. I assume this is only for high mmr/teams with comunication, right?
I personally feel that games with medkits are more fun than games without them as both killer and survivor, because survivors tend to interact with the killer more after they are healed (instead of either hiding or rushing a gen on the other side of the map)

  8. to be fair every type of item for survivor has had it's impact nerfed heavily. just the difference is healthstates will always be important in this game so mdkits will always be the most wanted and helpful

  9. Scott, I have to say that your math in this video was pretty bad. The exact numbers depend on what model and assumptions you use, but your numbers were pretty weird. Let's take a very simple scenario.

Killer chases survvior for 20 seconds and gets a hit. Survivor then heals with a medkit for 16 seconds.

You modeled this by saying that survivor time is worth 1/4 of killer time (a reasonable assumption). Then you calcluated the difference between killer and survivor time and multiplied that by 4 to get the time efficiency for the killer.

    (Tkiller – T survivor)*4 = Teffieciency (for survivor)

    (20-16)*4=16

With selfcare you got the numbers 20 and 24 seconds.

    (20-24)*4=-16

However that calcualtion does not reflect your assumptions. You started by assuming that killer time was 4 times as valuable as survivor time.

So the real calculation would be
    4xTkiller – Tsurvivor = Tefficency

    20*4-16=64 (brown medkit)

    20*4-24=56 (selfcare)

Also selfcare takes 32 seconds and 24 seconds, so:

    20*4-32=48 (actual selfcare)

Additionally the survivor that got chased also loses 20 seconds when chases for 20 seconds. Tsurvivor=Thealing+Tchase

    This gives us the numbers

    20*4-36=44 (brown medkit)

    20*4-44=36 (your version of selfcare)

    20*4-52=28 (actual selfcare).
