Tru3 can't unironically think taking too long to walk to the survivor is the issue, when chases last like 5 seconds!!!!
There's more value to Charlotte now than ever.
You mention that the walk to the survivor is the worst part, but we have to remember some crucial info.
You get to tactically and strategically place Charlotte somewhere near a gen, a chokepoint, etc. When you down a survivor with victor, that's one less survivor doing gens, and another survivor rushing over to try to revive them. If the other survivors are NOT rushing over to help, then here you are as a killer running around with 10% increased movespeed for another potential down or injure. And IF someone goes to help the injured survivor, you get victor back to immediately pressure/down others. Or you simply CHOOSE to return victor, and then immediately pressure another down and then take advantage of the movespeed again. It's a juggle, but its a really really good juggle.
You made the point of good survivors keeping the twins separated, but you can easily just recall victor, and then rush him back over to where that downed survivor was to immediately injure/down another survivor if that's the strategy they're going for. All while you as Charlotte get to keep yourself near gens. Twins are still going to be good at slugging, I just think this is a killer that you're going to see more instances of having 2 survivors down at a time as opposed to just 1, then a hook. Here one is left useless on the ground, another gets down in a non-optimal position or by the now 110% movespeed killer, and now survivors need to get off their gens to get their other teammate either off the ground or the other one off the hook.
Before, injuring with Victor did next to nothing for twins. You then just played a basic m1 killer while your ability was held hostage, forcing you to try going for slugs while leaving Charlotte somewhere. Now both have a reason to be feared when used in conjunction (the way twins should feel). Her pressure is there. It's just divided. If the only thing you're using her movement speed buff for is running to the other side of the map to pick up survivors, I feel you're undermining the real potential you have to pressure other survivors/objectives with that increased speed while the survivor is down and useless.
So your more worried about charlotte walking but not downing survivors in 2 seconds
0:39 No it's not. Silencing cloth gives 20s stealth upon switching to charlotte. Perfume got changed a lil bit. Soldier got the same treatment as Perfume. Rattle got changed. Fingernail nerf. Toy sword nerf as well.
Injure them with victor the same way you would Legion and use haste to chase other survivors while they are injured.
I haven't said they are nerfed or not. Ptb is notorious for making every killer look op as mmr is off and bots are shit. I can't tell how strong she is in chase without seeing live. Her only weakness I see is having to walk to pick up survivors. Hope this clears everything up.
I replay Unreal Tournament every year or so. I used to be able to take the Master/Godlike bots, but it's so awful to actually grind. Now I just play against adept or lower, so I can play more relaxed and get more from my time.
Twins is already S tier. My favorite killer
If this goes live she will be the strongest killer in the game
PTB Twins is absolutely S Tier and better then Blight LOL
Man, Unreal tournament 99 GOTYE was the best 👌
yeah have to disagree with this one – sure you are versing bots but victor is 150% movement speed and barely has a cooldown between successful hits – essentially can end a chase VERY FAST, even in a real match vs real survivors i can see you getting sub 20 second downs EASY. and charlotte now moves at 125% so the walking to the downed survivor (whilst boring) isnt an issue in my opinion when it comes to time waste considering victor can consistently down very fast with little skill expression required to get the fast down, compared to others killers such as billy that can get a fast or faster down, however require WAY more skill to do so – this leaves the twins very unfun to verse because in the 1v1 victor is perhaps now the best or one of the best killers in chase and survivors have very little counterplay (hope that victor misses the pounce) and in the killer perspective it is still boring spending 10 – 20 seconds walking to someone you just downed. Chase power is now OP but they still dont have much map pressure at all – maybe a hit and run legion style would apply this pressure???
Overall still an extremely boring killer for both sides to play in my opinion so nothing has changed in that regard. Will have to see if they are as overpowered in chase as I believe them to be in live, but I could be wrong.
I think the combo flip flop and power struggle is a good counter for this killer
Wow all I see is you getting rolled by bots 🤣 you have no skill. This killer is brain dead easy and somehow you’re still bad enough to say “ oh, this killer is mediocre “ when they’re literally as good as the Nurse. Get real bruv
I didnt I'd ever say this but, the twins are the new S tier killer after nurse, surpassing the blight.
Wow, they did a pretty good job so far…
Watched pro players scrim against her last night for a few hours. They couldn’t beat her until she removed gen defense and they covered the entire map in Boon exponential and even then it was just barely.
Not sure how BHVR can make this work.
If you want an original example of punishing difficulty, that would be oldschool arcade games. Since it took a microtransaction to keep going every time you lost, the design goal for many of them was to be exactly as frustrating as they could be without making the players lose interest.
Instead of two hits, make it three hits as a requirement to down with victor. So you don’t just stomp on survivors in 5 secs, instead it would be 10.
I think personally it's a bit hard to gauge exactly where Twins are at. I see a lot of videos and takes of them being S Tier and 'better than Nurse' which I disagree with. I feel like Nurse is fundamentally just busted and there won't really be anything that will come to the level she is despite the changes to her.
Teleports to ignore obstructions that can scale up and down vertically on maps with multiple floors, cover long distances AND pick up a downed survivor immediately?
Naa, I don't think Twins compare. If I were to humor what others said, then Twins would be up there with Blight and Nurse, but no, definitely not better than her.
Twins look strong, because people see fast Victor speed, no downside after landing a hit (can't crush on successful attack), and very short cooldown on an attack. Which I agree, it can be very strong and it looks very strong when depicted in this video and others I've seen. I feel like most showcases of it however have been on either bots or survivors that have showed very predictable movement such as running linear paths, or they get caught out on things like vaults and pallets and barely even display attempts at dodging.
I feel like the true strength of it will come to light when pitted against strong SWFs that communicate and synergize perks, people that tell locations and know positions to be. Will we see something like Flip Flop coming into play and utilized during that period where Charlotte has to walk back to Victor? That walk could give time for people to get into position to do things like sabotaging hooks despite the haste, and if the haste is utilized to try and pursue someone else and get another potential injure; then that leaves the down person opened to be healed again.
There are many scenarios that can happen with it that I feel is far too early to make any proper judgement yet. You're always welcome to have an opposing opinion to Tru3 or to myself, but those of you that are letting the rather lack-of opinion here in this video mentally shake you to the point of personal attacks, unsubscribing and being genuinely upset; you actually need to seek some therapy cause you have greater problems at play and Tru3's takes aren't one of them.
Why not walk with Charlotte till you see the survivor. You sent Victor scout accross the whole map on the first down. If the chase last 5 sec, then Charlotte is 5 sec away. If Victor has to walk 10 sec then chase 5sec Charlotte has to walk another 15 sec to catch up.
I think grim embrace will be really good on her, it will save up a lot of that time walking to survivors to pick them up, as Victor can down survivors really quickly; discordance also looks good, you can injure both people and then down the other
The issue is the insanely fast recovery time of Victor and getting to a survivor isn't an issue if you can pretty much get a slug fest going on for massive pressure.
True would absolutely never admit that something on the killer side is too strong. The only way is if his ego got hurt playing survivor against them. His only negatives to the killer are ones that are bad for the killer side, on this extremely busted killer lol
The walking is no big deal as you get 10% haste effect and considering how fast Victor can down survivors now while also having Victor being on top of them as well plus killer can apply blindness effect/aura perks etc.
Not only does survivors needs to waste time removing Victor but they could also be affected by blindness which means there won't be enough time to heal up the survivor before Charlotte arrives unless they have For The People which can be a very problematic perk against Twins to deal with.
Bots or not Victor still has the ability to down survivors in less than 10 seconds so by the looks of it Victor is a broken mess.
4:28 "Anti-Camp" Genuinely the stupidest shit in this game. It's like when you death hook someone as Singularity and look through your pods only to be slowed whilst the Survivor is literally in the death animation.
Because "BAD KILLER" for camping dying Survivors.
You are crazy if you think walking to the survivor is the only bad thing
11:20 If you locate a survivor with Charlotte then release Victor when you’re fairly close then how far away can a survivor realistically get? ( given how fast Victor is) And given that you can’t just hold W as you need to attempt to avoid pounces. I don’t think you’ll end up having to walk that far
Pls Play Huntress against Bots then the Bots are High MMR 😙
