I like that analogy of being a sociopath and taking advantage of idiots. I've seen that happen recently with RTX gpu's on like ebay and stuff.
At the time I was looking for an upgrade and a gpu from the RTX family sounded very attractive, except they were way overpriced. Either way, it wasn't an unusual sight to see an offer to buy 3070 RTX for around £750, which obviously sounds like a great offer especially a few months ago. If you took your time to read through the offer you'd realise it's a scam. The pictures showcase the graphics card in it's boxing, but the offer was in fact JUST for the box itself, without the card. Imagine paying over 700 quid for an empty box.
Made me think of all those people who can potentially fall for that, and I wasn't sure whether to be disgusted with people who pull that crap, or upset with people who are dumb enough to fall for it.
