  1. Yes I see this more and more like a killer would run 4 slow downs then complain in the same match that survivors are using gen perks lol. Same on the other side and so on so on. But I play meme builds lately like head on and I even get told off by the killer saying I should not be using that perk lol. The community is what ruins the game fun for me.

  2. a good rule of thumb is "don't bring shit that annoys you on the other end". If you play Killer and scoff at survivors that brought DH, Prove, Stake Out and toolboxes, maybe don't use these builds when you play survivor or at least be conscious about their strength. Vice versa, if you hate Eruption and Overcharge as a Survivor, pick some other perks – chances are, survivors you face hate these perks too. But at the end of the day, you won't be able to please all of your opponents and you certainly don't have to.

  3. What about if one person talks smack but the other 3 gives you props? You should play how you want and thats that but streamers and part of the community plus devs made the game a war over power and perks. Its a game to have fun.

  4. Ever since around a few months after i played DBD for the first time (around the Left Behind DLC) there has been a lot i have experienced in terms of the community and playerbase behavior at the time and as soon as i got myself trapped on the rage of just after having a very rough time on a match and have that ''Need'' to make someone else misserable if i can't get that revenge on the ones that gave me that rough match i decide to put it on others, like rough survivor match? i bring the sweatiest annoying build (although for years until this one i never touched dead hard because even then i thought i was being a dick and thought it was unnecessary), same with playing as killer? bring mori and one shot crap on whatever killer i feel like playing with the most because 'US vs THEM' mentality existed and i got attached to it for a time … Until i tried experiment finding ways to have fun with whatever i could bring and stop caring about the mentality from either side and not send hate to anyone because of the way they played a videogame

It won't stop me of thinking bad of the ones that do try their best to intentionally make the match bad but even then i can just leave the game on the background and play something better while i wait for the bleed out timer for all survivors to end and move on to the next match, not even confronting the killer because that's what it wants i guess

Thanks to experimenting i found ways to ACTUALLY counter certain meta builds on ways people haven't experienced yet or at least make them less effective and these are perks that people never thought of using which is interesting (Even found a way to make it fun to play against a nurse without exahustion perks & against Eruption, Call of Brine & Overcharge who would've thought), all because i stopped focusing on using any meta builds always intend to stomp on everyone and just decided to experiment and see what i could do to make it fun in the meantime while we wait if it's gonna get changed again

And yeah it doesn't change the geninue and objectively still crappy problems this game still has and had for years but we should focus on making our time less frustrating and not try to go insane and take it on others like i have and i seen some of my friends have, i even encouraged them to not follow this path and some of them have grown overtime to stop going super mad and invested on making their times less painful experimenting with what they have

Just try to have fun and if we have to be angry we can, just not go insane or try to each other like a bunch of hungry poor dogs fighting for the same bone🧉

  5. I would also say change the conditions in what is a win for u , of course not saying make it easy but be real with yourself

For me someone who’s is deaf in my right ear .i can’t do mind games properly nor do I really hide my stain or moon walk because a lot of surviors just run away and I wouldn’t know I was getting fed up as killer as a killer main with prob 1k hrs

And I decided I’m not gonna worry about kills hook stages is all I need 6 hooks is a win 6 hooks equal 2 k which the game is designed for 2k only , Iv noticed thst in most games u get around 6 -7 hooks if u camp / tunnel obv more but on average it 6-7

And according to the level of players I either decided to lower or increase the for swf it’s 5 hooks for a win but I don’t acknowledge a loss to a swf because it’s cheating by definition but doing this it helps me not flip and go crazy

I also would recommend u try to adapt the Bruce lee philosophy most people don’t wanna accept or handle defeat but we need 2 as people because this helps us grow

  6. Is this considered a bad play? I was playing with the knight and is my first time playing him and I'm a novice killer, when I was playing a match the other day I injured one guy then went after another one and downed them and hooked them, then in the same area I found the one that I injured and slugged them because I saw another survivor going for the unhook and when I went to down them they dc and told me I was bad and bring killers name down, is this bad what I did or not? I just want some insight I want to get better at killer. Anyways everyone have a great day <3

  7. When a new Killer is released, (Nemesis or Wesker for example) – Everyone cries and says "OMG so much camping and tunneling." This is because the new people coming to the game because of the new Killer, M1'd a guy and put him on hook. Thought to themselves why the hell would I need to go after other people if their job is to get him off hook, so they prox camp. When they eventually get off of hook, the Killer tunnels that same guy getting off hook cause why not? its more efficient, anyone with two braincells can see that. My point is, new players adapt this same mentality and older players view it as "toxic". If we all thought with the same mentality back when we first joined, back when we all actually liked the game before becoming "competitive" , the game would be a better place. I stopped giving a f, because after saying "ggs" at the end game screen and watching VODs of certain streamers, I get berated for even saying "ggs" and get soft reported (in-game report with no explanation) even if I play fair as possible. The only thing you can do is say "ggs" and go next, it literally shouldnt matter about the other side's fun, you cannot please everyone, and if you try to – you'll literally lose every single time and get "bullied" for it End game chat or tbagging at the exit gate. I paid my money, so I play how I want, and apparently if that means running 2 slow down like a tryhard, then I will. These terminologies need to go as well, cause no one as a new player would even think like that if it werent for the community pushing these words on new players. Its funny too, after reaching a high prestige level, you see the salt in the end game screen and you think to yourself "is this person really taking the game more serious than a higher prestige than themselves?" – For what reason? none, because some competitive youtube video told them to be mad about losing.

  8. It's cool that you notice most of your fans are chill in the game. I hope to catch a stream one day. I work 12+ hours a day with maybe an hour to game, so I miss every person I'd love to watch live. But maybe one of these.

  9. Hi Bran! I dunno if you'd be up for it but do you think you could react to the video Hens made recently? It's called 'Holding survivors hostage for 1 hour'. I'd really like to know your thoughts that video and what it says about the current meta/state of dbd. But I also understand you might not really be able to make a video on it like others or might not even see this suggestion lol.
