  1. also forgot to mention on springwood that there can be broken tiles where survivors can go through but the killer can't. not sure if you know this

  2. PSA: Spaghetti is to be eaten, not to be used in any part of the game development process and/or be used as a reference for coding stylization.

  3. no blood from the locker when survivor is injured? isn't it supposed to leave a puddle of blood outside the locker? encountered this a few times recently, and in your video as well there's no blood outside the locker

  4. Idk if it was a bug or what but I was playing blight on Lery's and I downed a Kate. I went to pick her up but couldn't, the animation would play but nothing would happen and she would remain on the ground. I thought she could be a cheater because I've seen cheaters do that, so I left and she got picked up and when I downed her again this time I could pick her up fine, and I remained being able to consistenly pick her up fine for the rest of the trial. I have no idea what went on in that first pick up. She stood in corners letting herself go down which I thought was suspicious but figured she was trying to take advantage of bad spawn logic and boil over.

  5. Ever since this update this game has become super buggy and at first I thought had something to do with my internet but istg whenever I run it would seem like I'm moving I'm slow motion like im.laggy but I'm not AMD then I would see some weird blue thing on my teammates when I spectate them

  6. Just had a match on coal tower where the sawmill next to the big log pile had an invisible wall next to it, like someone put 2 sawmills next to each other but one was invisible. Wasn't major at all but definitely bizarre.

  7. A few hours after the patch launched I played a game where I thought I went up against a hacker. Hatchets flew out of the huntresses chest, we all got hooked on midair and when I went to unhook it gave me the prompt to heal.

Well it turned out to be a YouTuber (Benjo who is a very wholesome content creator as soon as I saw it was them I knew instantly they weren't hacking) and they posted a video and everything looked legit at their end. Was super weird.

  8. Has anyone else noticed that skill checks can just randomly not register? It only happens around 1 out of every 5 skill checks, but even when pressing the skill check button the marker just continues around like I never pressed the button?

  9. i feel like the crow map staircase bug is being blown out of proportion (no surprise for the dbd playerbase). all the killer has to do is walk on the left side of the stairs.

  10. As someone who has only been playing for close to a month, the crazy amount of survivors who burn the Forsaken Boneyard offering so they can abuse the stairs really makes me think 90% of survivor players are super toxic.

  11. 2:05 before I was an engineer that was a question I asked Ubisoft all the time when they were updating Siege – "how do you break a thing that has not changed?"
The thing is what it usually boils down to is that they are refactoring some more abstract stuff to make an incoming feature easier or just better implemented, breaking some of the existing code in the process. If not tested properly, suddenly you break some random things because the pool of "edge cases" is endless. Behaviour is a prime example of poorly tested features, they always come out broken and break already working things.

My bet is that they were doing something with how first person hand models are placed, how camera works or just some FOV stuff and overlooked Spirit when testing.

  12. I thought spirit's fov was weird lately. I really don't get how this stuff happens either, like are they doing more stuff for later updates and it's just messing with current ones or like..what?

  13. Suffo pit bug, or if you can call it a bug, but 5/7 gens will spawn on main building side a l lot of the time, but this has been going on for months. It's basically a free 3 gen. No gens will spawn in the middle and only two will spawn on shack side.

  14. I use to love the game but the developers did the best job they could to ruin it. They've annihilated solo-queue and don't give a damn. As a solo-queue player, I left the game and don't regret it one bit.

  15. Boyfriend was streaming DBD. He was Huntress and a Feng got in a locker, but her model was floating out next to it. He was able to hit the Feng and it took her from healthy to injured, he then opened the locker and pulled her out. Dunno how it happened but he took a clip if you want to see it

  16. what causes it? complete incompetence in maintaining the codebase, like the reintroduction of an extremely ancient bug recently, whispers triggering off of dead survivors

that's really all there is to it, probably a lot of cross-contamination on their github branches (and given they've deployed dev branches before..)
