imagine this: Survivors hit with the T-virus will build up nemesis tiers like normal. When nemesis reaches a higher tier he can press ctrl to unleash S.T.A.R.S. hunt. Nemesis breaks out in a sprint (fast enough to get good distance but not too fast since he's a big guy) any survivors caught in the sprint will be picked up and can be pinned into a wall (similar to the charger from left 4 dead or just wesker power) the survivor will get injured and nemesis will have a slightly longer recovery then he would normally if he just ran without hitting anyone. Once you reach tier 3 the power will have a cooldown instead of being based on tiering up infection. Could also maybe let him break walls/pallets in this mode
God I'd love a sprint ability, like charging up with a sound thats global to let you know whats coming but without the maneuverabilty of Oni or Billy

I’ve thought about when he’s in tier 3 he’d been able to whip a zombie to buff it for a period of time, maybe he infects them with the T virus and they roid out for 30-60 seconds with high movement speed (3.0-4.0). Probably only one at a time. Would need a lot of play testing tho
It's okay for Killers to have weaknesses. Lately, they've made Killers that are jack-of-all-trades, and it's annoying. What happened to Perks complimenting Killer weaknesses instead of Killer Powers doing everything?
New Nemi is great fun, no longer feels like you need to run Corrupt Intervention just to have enough time to spread some contamination early. The zombies are still a minor inconvenience at best, and completely useless at worst against decent survivors. Honestly I'd be happy if they just fixed it so they don't get stuck on scenery unable to move, and I don't think survivors would consider that unfair. But whatever.
I'm gonna be honest, the best thing that they can do for Nemesis is just completely replace the zombies with his iconic sprint move. Not only would it make him a lot stronger, he'd also be more accurate to what Nemesis is.
My idea for a sprint power is to allow the player to accelerate and decelerate when sprinting. The faster you run as Nemesis, the harder it is to control, and the slower you go, the easier it is to control the sprint. You could have like 3 different tiers of speed for the sprint.
5:38 I mean what else can you do as a survivor though, the zombies will just post up and make doing a generator impossible, especially in the late game.
I'm glad he got buffed but i kinda wish they would nerf the ability to drag his whip at a distance.
I don't want them to remove dragging and i don't want them to nerf it at close range, but at a distance it feels stupid. I've seen gameplay where people COMPLETELY miss their hits only to drag it and still get a hit despite the survivors not even running back into it. If the survivors run back into it then they deserve to be hit. But the clips I've seen they don't run back into it and the nemesis is literally given a free hit as a reward for missing.
I think the zombie blind thing is fine cos unlike other lightburns it is a give and take. A blinded zombie gives you extremely good information because nobody uses flashlight charge to blind a zombie unless they plan to linger where that zombie is. When i see a zombie stargazing i always know theres at least 1 survivor right by them and thats better information than just the somewhat unreliable arm pointing

Nemesis is literally back to the way he was, a little bit after his release, with his infection rate. They nerfed it because he would literally get Tier 2 30 seconds to a minute into the match, and then he would just curbstomp every survivor in a chase. Most survivors I’ve played with don’t even know about crouching after vaulting so his whip doesn’t hit. So matches tend to last 4 minutes and end in a 4K. Good thing they buffed him back to that spot.
He need: Better Addons and Mobility (and maybe decrease the volume of his footsteps, really, this give so much information to the survivors)
Unbalanced things we want which can become balanced if brhv know how to make it balanced: Rocket laucher, Minigun and Flamethrower.

zombie rework idea:
NEW: zombies by using his secondary ability button and trigger a loud noise notification to alert a zombie to a generator (range is the same)
NEW: Adds 2 more supply crates to the trial. They are highlighted in yellow and contains Undead Flashbangs for survivors (they will appear different to a regular flashbang). These crates regenerate flashbangs after some time opened and looted. They blind zombies for 35 seconds. They do not blind the nemesis.
ive always enjoyed playing nemo because of his simplicity and being a short-ranged killer without the need for a reload of sorts. once you learn the differences between the different tiers of his power, it's just learning the hitbox of his whip and utilizing it properly. simplicity is key
As a former survivor main his tentacle is long af 😂 as a killer main he’s still too slow
I have for years been advocating for nemesis to have either a longer ranged weapon or a sprint like he has in the games. I know I'm repeating myself, but one of his core characteristics in gameplay is that he is FAST. You as the player do not just "run from" him. He catches you unless you can put a wall between the two of you, and with canon strength, 90% of the time he would just go through the wall.
I've heard that he only has 2 zombies because the old code would implode if anything else was added, I think now that UE5 is in and 2v8 proved to work, they could at least have an addon that adds a third zombie

Here’s an idea for a distance-based ability.
Rushdown: Whenever you receive 5 infection points from any source, you are able to activate Rushdown. When you activate Rushdown, Nemesis will scream his iconic “STARS” voice line and gain killer instinct on all survivors. He will then begin moving forward at 11.5 m/s, have his camera locked, and have a significant turn rate reduction (similar to oni or hillbilly). This rush continues for 10 seconds, or until he hits a wall, pallet, breakable wall, survivor, or is stunned or blinded by any means. If he hits a wall or is stunned or blinded by any means, he will roar and be stunned for 3 seconds which cannot be reduced in any way other than add ons. If he hits a pallet or breakable wall, he will immediately punch through it and enter a short 2 second cooldown before returning to normal. If a survivor is struck, the survivor is injured (or put in deep wounds if they were already injured, and infected with the T-virus. This infection does not count towards the progression of the next Rushdown.
this'll never happen, but i think there should be some map traversal killer perks. it could help with the balance of killers a lot: not every killer needs to be designed with some unique built-in map control ability, they've all got some shared fall-back options.
just make them weaker than the stuff killer powers give, so the speediest characters don't get much use out of them.
some loose ideas:
– whispers now gives haste when no survivors are near. has a downside, eg disables bloodlust.
– you can teleport between dull totems on a cooldown. perk lets you see nearest dull totem's aura when far away, all others when about to teleport. activate by pressing m1/space on it and then aiming at your target, or something.
– hold m1 after missing a lunge attack to dash like oni (but slower). when you let go, you're put in the missed attack state and slowed. has a cooldown or activation condition.
– hit a hooked survivor to teleport to the hook farthest from any currently-hooked survivors. add some caveat to punish camping, but make sure it still works if you accidentally hit a survivor in the unhook animation because that's funny.
I actually been thinking of nemesis getting a sprint ability and it could actually work just make it so you can´t hit out of it, they could make it so after the sprint you just yell like in the game an make everyone on a radius scream and give it an addon that gives you aura reading
I feel like there's a misconception in the DBD community that every killer HAS to be extremely powerful. Like I don't see a reason to make already decent killers into S-tier killers, especially when everyone complains about the S-tier killers feeling oppressive anyway. I think nemesis is in a really good spot. His anti-loop is strong if used well but is also counterable, and he's a fun killer to play as and against.
I dont get why they didnt just do that from the beginning of his release with his infection change he got. And this also begs the question, when he released and Marvin's blood was so necessary they then nerfed it on 2 separate occasions and now they basically buffed his base infection rate and Marvin's blood.
So why the fuck did they even bother nerfing marvins blood back then? Its so weird what they choose to do.
I enjoy nemesis a lot and i think being able to drag your tentacle is whst gives him the edge.

I dont think hes B at all anymore, ur argument is that he cant be A-Tier bec he doesnt have "map pressure" other than his strong chase power, which is the only reliable thing he has going for him, but what you have just described is literally the best killer in this game.
Nurse does NOT have better map traversal than a normal 115 killer with no movement ability despite what a lot of people want to say (except maybe when it comes to maps with a lot of multi floor play like rpd or midwich for example, but other that it's not the case).
So saying that a killer cant be A-Tier bec he doesnt have map traversal is not really a smart point to make, considering that the best killer in this game does not have better mobility than an average 115 killer with no mobilty.
I wish they gave him his arrive from the rooftop ability from re3 remake. Also I wanted an iri or purple add on that gives an extra zombie
His gameplay still is an objetive failure compared to what he does in his own game. No rocket launcher, no insane sprint, no crazy leaps to cut off a survivor's path, simply nothing. If they wanted to have a tyrant accompanied by zombies who moves slowly and punches people they should have gone with Mr. X instead.
This is so funny to me that most people consider Chucky to be one of the best killers in the game, even though all he has is chase and his chase is not that much stronger than Nemesis, but also he's 110% and holding W and pre-dropping counters him so hard it's not even funny (you don't know pain if you didn't play Chucky vs good team on big map like disturbed ward) and Nemesis also has some kind of map pressure, even if it's inconsistent and he isn't even considered A tier. It's looks kinda weird to me

there's no such thing as "bad zombie RNG" unless a zombie gets fully stuck in place somewhere. what you are experiencing is, in reality, "low zombie speed". take off tongue and blood – these addons are training wheels for nemesis which you don't need – and equip zombie speed addons. then re-evaluate the zombies when they are actually capable of getting to generators on-time. use ruin + undying to make the zombies extra powerful. the other two perks can be whatever you want, more backup slowdown or something for chase like ptb zanshin.

I'm a very good chaser, very talented. Actually mine are one best chases in the entire world. Experts, very good experts, I know a lot of them, say that my chases are the best they have seen.
Thats why Nemesis is the best feel good killer on the halloween event with the blighted serum addon.
Getting a free speedboost per hook is amazing on him, and lets you cut that distance they gain by running early, covering almost his only weakness, simply hook someone, find nother surv, use the blight serum towards them, bam, you're in another chase already
He is a cool killer, better designed then a lot of other ones. But I don't like the gameplay design they are going for on him right now. Having no map pressure and extremely strong anti loop to compensate is not fun to go against. It removes a lot of survivor counterplay. I think it is better for killers to be balanced by giving them better map pressure if they need a buff instead of making their anti loop ridiculous to go against.

I absolutely HATE the changes. I think his chase is actually the best in the game, even over nurse. The fact that the CD of his tentacle is so short and that it comes out INSTANTLY makes it near impossible to dodge. With pyramid head, huntress, deathslinger, and trickster you at least have a little time to react, and to top it off, he has ZOMBIES while none of the other ranged killers have anything of the sort. And the fact that it IS RNG based makes it even worse because then the skill expression is completely gone. Nemesis quickly became my least favorite killer to face since this update. Good god I hate it.
zombie ai still sucks ass tho, sometimes when I purposely show my self to zombies to get them away from gens and team mates they just do a 180 and just run away from me with their hands up in the air, and when I do gens they just hug gens as if they were helping me do them🤦♂️
