Saying Goodbye to the BEST Survivor Build in Dead by Daylight

Read more Dead by Daylight ➜ https://deadbydaylight.mgn.gg

On this day, we mourn the loss of one of Dead by Daylight’s most iconic survivor setups – the vault build is officially no more. Out of respect, we gave this glorious build one more run before it was nerfed. Combining some of the strongest chase perks in the game – Resilience (the only one not nerfed), Spine Chill, Dead Hard, and Decisive Strike – we have what was once possibly the most powerful survivor setup in the game. As of the day this video was posted, most of these perks have been gutted making them FAR less effective. So let’s give the vault build one more run, and remind ourselves of it’s former glory.

  1. I'm streaming the NEW META patch today – https://www.twitch.tv/yerv – As of today, this build is mostly nerfed into the ground. BUT, keep in mind that resilience is STILL good – it's just that one half of vault build is taken away because spine chill doesn't make you vault faster. Thanks for checking out the video and best of luck putting together new builds y'all!

  2. Goodbye and good riddance. 17:08 Eating a Decisive Strike during end game is one of the most tilting and rage inducing things I ever experienced playing killer. From the get got I have thought that the anti-tunneling perk should not have worked after the doors are open. I am so glad it is being changed. If a killer got hit with a DS in the end game before it was an auto escape for the survivor. The killer had no chance to recover. Totally unbalanced in end game.

  3. really cannot fathom why they changed Spine Chill. the only argument for it is that stealth killers got countered by it, but you can also counter it yourself as a stealth killer? just seems so unnecessary

  5. See back in my day we used to have this perk that everyone used. I was one of the few that didn't use exhaustion perks. One of the reasons I always died.
