All 25 Survivors Ranked from Least to Most GOOD! (Dead by Daylight)

Hey everyone, today we’re ranking the survivors from least to most good. I was originally going to do this list least to most evil, but I don’t really think any of the survivor characters are evil, so I thought I’d flip it and do least to most good, largely in terms of morality. They’re going to be put into one of five tiers. Bad or immoral, okay with grey morality, good with grey morality, good and moral, and finally, extremely good and moral. The way that the majority of characters, let alone survivors are represented, is very morally grey in Dead by Daylight, but I want to rank the survivors on how good they are as I think it’s generally more applicable. Let’s get into it.

Chapter XXI is a Hellraiser one! The PTB has been released and featured the new killer, The Cenobite, or Pinhead. This is, however, the only content that seems to be releasing with the chapter.

  1. The Resident Evil characters literally fight terrorists and throw themselves in harm's way for the sake of humanity. Jill same through a giant pool of infected water so they could have a chance to stop the current virus. Chris fought in a volcano to make sure Albert Wesker died so he would not harm anyone any more. Leon showed empathy and great care for everyone he met in RE2 and in RE4 literally had the patience and understanding to help Ashley. How do they score so low on the list with all this selfless, life threatening work against the forces of evil? Also, they literally only shoot back in self defense and Leon in RE2 Remake literally gave a zombie a chance to surrender before shooting it lol

  2. Bill is definitely not morally grey. Killing zombies that are threatening your life does not give anyone a reason to question your morality. Especially since Bill canonically sacrificed himself for his friends, he died to save them.

  3. considering Ash made a deal with a demon that said basically "You can destroy the world and whatever. but not this specific place that I wanna be in, and we're cool"… I think he's too high on this list XD

  4. I think lori is morally Grey. Strictly because of the new Halloween and how she treated her daughter. Yes she has PTSD and was preparing but she also took her daughter's child hood away and traumatized her a great deal. Then refused to acknowledge it

  5. How is ash morally grey if he likes killing monsters who killed his dad and all his friends and innocent people and I can fully understand why he hates them and loves killing them who wouldn’t after 40 years or more of them harassing you?

  6. Disagree with Jane a lot actually. Her lore shows her as someone who worked for everything she has and her entire platform is built on helping people, and all of her worse moments in her lore can be attributed to the extreme stress she faces as a media icon and talk show host facing criticism at every turn. Even with her mother, she was willing to talk it out with her on live television which is extremely bold on her part, and she only storms off when she finds out that she's not even her real mother, on national television nonetheless. Overall I think she's a very strong character in terms of morals, and comparing her to someone like Feng, who isolated her own family for trying to make her kick her gaming addiction, feels weird. Great list otherwise.

  7. Just because something is illegal doesn't make it wrong. You're not a bad person if you commit insurance fraud. You're not an evil monster if you counterfeit and launder money.

  8. Feel like jill got done dirty, she puts herself in between the general public and an army of bio weapons in the resident evil series and she only goes bad after the Antagonist mind controls her. I don't think she ever kills another living person in the entire series and actually sacrifices herself in resident evil 5.

  9. I disagree with Nea, she did her graffiti to spread the news of the mayors poisoning the water, she was spreading awareness along with Casey, she just has her ways. And was it a BAD thing she killed the mayor who poisoned the water?? hmm?

  10. Hmmm.. idk.. Leon is a very selfless guy who throws himself head first into danger to save others. Claire is also this way except she can be a little tempered and hot headed. Chris I can see being Ok with grey morality. He’s literally a full on soldier with traumatic problems and can be aggressive towards others. He’s a good guy, just has a lot going on that doesn’t make him a really good guy.

Jill I’m unsure of. Never played RE3. But I’d rank her with Claire.

  11. No hate my friend, I really love your videos. But I do disagree with your placement of The Stranger Things characters, I agree with Steve but I don’t agree with Jonathan or Nancy. I think Jonathan and Nancy should swap places, as even though Jonathan can come off as creepy I don’t think he’s very comparable to Steve. He only fought Steve because Steve insulted Jonathan’s presumed dead brother, and humiliated the girl he loves. Him taking pictures is creepy I agree, but that’s forgivable to me, he was a dumb teenager and he saw a pretty girl. It’s Nancy who pushes him into fighting the Demogorgon with her in the Season 1 final, and he still try’s to protect her throughout that fight, and later on he drives her home when Steve leaves her drunk at a party, showing his heart is in the right place.

Nancy is more morally questionable imo, she knew she didn’t love Steve, but she stayed with him even though she knew she would eventually hurt him, and even though he was a far from perfect Boyfriend, she did treat him somewhat poorly in season 2. Right after she breaks up with Steve she sleeps with Jonathan, which sort of shows her having a lack of regard for Steve since they were in a relationship for almost over a year, but she immediately moves on.

I would’ve put Jonathan right behind Laurie, and put Nancy where you placed Jonathan.

  12. You lost me entirely at killing alone being an issue. You're going to knock someone who kills supernatural evil? This was much less quality than normal. Why is Jake so high up when he is clearly a hunter? His newest outfit makes that clear. That's killing itself. He also abandons his family for an inability to take the pressure.

  13. Okay, love your videos but this one is a big no-no. You can't judge characters by what they went through. You are putting Jane and Feng, who would literally do almost anything for their own success above Jill, who killed zombies but was a cop who willingly put the life of others above herself? Cybil, who helped a stranger in the middle of hell? Lisa, who gave her life for Alessa? No, sorry, I am subscribed to your channel and like every video you post, but man… you just missed it entirely on this video. Too biased, couldn't watch it. Maybe your opinion on morals are too strict. You should think more about this, analyse your own life experiences then maybe you wouldn't be so biased. I am really sorry for giving you this harsh feedback but this video is not good. It was amazing at the start with Yun and David as the not so good, but what you did to Bill, Lisa, Jill, Leon, Claire, Cybil, Chris was… stupid, to say the least. Claire literally created an organization just to help People, man, what the fuck? Bill died for his friends… no, your opinion is totally biased. Not a fan. No, not happy at all.

  15. I like how complex Yun-Jin's character is. She chose to stay silent in fear of losing her career because that girl went through a LOT. While Trickster wants fame to kill and be narcissistic, she just wants to live a happy life unlike the one she had when she was young. Most people will act like if they were in her shoes they wouldn't be self-preserving, but life is a balance of knowing when to help others and yourself. Yun-Jin was selfish, but it's understandable. Given her circumstances many would do the same as her even if we wouldn't admit it. If the Entity was real and we were all in these trials, don't lie to yourself, we'd all most likely save our own asses first.
