With the New Release of the Resident Evil Chapter in Dead by Daylight, they have added a New Perk called Flashbang which can be crafted in game and allows you to blind the killer. This can be used for Saves, Distance and is overall a really fun perk to use.

I was doing really well in a game, but got stuck on that window on Lery's as killer. I thought it was accidental, but looking back, maybe those survivors knew it was a bug and exploited it – especially since in post game chat, they were calling me a noob for getting stuck on the window while they had one survivor dead and multiple death hook at 4 gens left

This will save you so much.
Look UPPPPPP or face the wall when picking up.
Not only will that save you frustration or a free escape but also you wont need to use perks like franklins or lightborn and can actually use these perk slots for somethin much better. Cheers
