you know what, now that The Ring is happening, there’s a huge chance that The Grudge might also happened further down the line.

What's ringu
I don't know much about the original Ringu, but the bits I do know, make me wonder how this will adapt. I don't know if TV's or wells or what not will be involved. Guess we'll see in 3 months.

There was three movies in total. Ringu, Ringu 2 and Ringu 0. Plus a cross over with the Japanese version of The Grudge (Ju-On). Rich lore to pull from there.
I feel like the killers power could be hair but thus came out of no where
Its gonna have a teleport ability and if u cleanse the well it will make you exposed. Also I think she will have a reverse Ghostface and if u look at her u will become oblivious and exposed.
She could just replace the demogorgon. Instead of portals she places wells she can teleport between and instead of his pounce attack she surges forward. Idk it kinda works but will be unoriginal.

I CANNOT WAIT
This has been the first dbd release ever in the 3 years that I have played, that made me emotional. I’ve demanded Sadako/Samara ever since I started playing and seeing this coming into the game felt like a dream to me. I’m still in shock that it’s happening! I personally believe her power will be based around the curse behind the VHS tape. Although wells and TVs could be integrated I definitely think it’ll be more curse focused. Sadako might be able to curse individual survivors and lead to certain affects. I also would love for an obsession based aspect to the power (or something to do with the obsession mechanic) because of the outcome of both ringU and the Ring. Overall I’m looking forward to this chapter more then anything currently!
