About Dead by Daylight
Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught, tortured and killed.

  1. 16:11 CALLED IT!!!

I mean I’m not surprised. Honestly that’s probably the only way they can fix queue times. Cause they sure as hell aren’t gonna focus on the fun of killer or survivor. At least not anytime soon.

  2. I would love a hide and seek game mode where survivors have the expose status effect for the entire game and the killer is able to Mori without hooking each survivor once. And for survivors they have quicker crouch speed and the ability to turn completely invisible if they don’t move for a certain amount of time. (sort of like a combination of wraith’s power and the insidious perk)

There are four survivors and each one has two extra lives. (three lives in total) The objective of the game is to find five parts in order to repair the gate switch. (there are two gates and ten parts in total scattered across the map) Once all five pieces have been placed in either of the two gate switches, the survivor then will immediately open the gate, and the end game collapse will begin.

  3. Me personally I know I am really disliking DBD when I would rather play Castlevania Rondo of Blood or Siren. I have been very dissatisfied with DBD for about 2 or 3 months now. I barely play 2 hours a week now. I want them to listen to feedback but they rarely if ever do.

  4. I honestly don't want more UI clutter in the hud. the biggest advantage of swf in my experience is just knowing you have decent teammates that won't leave you on hook or hide in a corner. Kindred makes all those UI icons redundant and unnecessary.

  5. Most answers were the same , i want a quick play but I know if that happens Ques will become worse then they already are . So I can wait on Quick play but the bots in kill your friends would be nice . What’s really sad about this survey is I know they won’t read them unlike genshin who did and is still making their game better & better . Plus even if they do who knows other people answered like so I imagined either they don’t read it or read the same people questions that I saw on Twitter “when is shirtless jake “ . Question to gimms have u played prop hunt and did u enjoy it ?

  6. I mean you answered it yourself, you don't enjoy the game because you always want to win, doing this, especially as killer, is a sure fire recipe to hating the game. If you play to win you have already lost in all honesty. I play as a pretty much friendly killer who just gets my barbeque stacks and then lets the survivors go. You would not believe how many positive interactions I have had with people and how much less stressful it is than playing for a 4K. I will admit I'm not a killer main, I play mostly with a SWF but if I did play consistently as outlined above I don't think I would end up hating this game. Of course I have been playing off and on since 2016 so any burnout as not caught up with me and I could see stale gameplay being a problem for playing killer in the way I described.

  7. I think what they mean by the random environmental events is the procedural generation of the maps ie. Oreintation and placement of tiles and generators which I think is very much true because of TV placement and how easy the generators are to sneak up on

  8. Bhvr: "Everything that the community has spent the past several years screaming at us to do would increase your enjoyment of DBD."

  9. 24:11 THE. FUCKING. GRIND!
Absolutely ridiculous. I dont think I'd recommend this game to my enemies at this point, due to how much you have to play before you can even start playing for real.

  10. Yeah judging by the questions I think they have a pretty good idea what the problems are. It's just they don't really act on it and try to fix it but hopefully they will

  11. I honestly don't know why BHVR still holds these player satisfaction surveys. The same questions get asked in every Q&A, which means that they clearly don't listen to their community. So what's the point in these surveys?

  12. So you're saying dcing survivors or killers being replaced by bots is not useful?
Sorry but this is just so stupid.
A lot of bad takes there, good thing BHVR doesn't listen to the community seem like a good thing sometimes.

Maybe you’re not at top level, or good at looping yourself- and you’re just bad at the character?

  15. The biggest problem with surveys is WHO is answering them. A company can send out a survey, but if they have a huge group of people getting on just to answer everything is fine and nothing needs changed then what was the point of the survey? The illusion that they care about what you think. I commend MrGimms for doing this in a video to show his answers. I only hope that I'm not right about the survey. If they come out and say something off the wall that none of us in the community have even asked for or hinted at then I know it's a rigged system. "We've heard your feedback and now we're going to add in (Insert off the wall game mode or game change here) for everyone who asked for it!" What it really means is "Hey, we had this thing in the works, but we don't want to take the backlash for implementing it so we'll do a survey and then blame it on the community if it flops." Sorry BHVR, I've been in Business and Economics almost all my life and I know the tactics. The fact you have to resort to them lessens my already jaded view of your gameplay and future as a company.
