Dead By Daylight posted a developer update on their official forums today, detailing what changes from the PTB (Public Test Build) they’ve made to the “Forged In Fog” DLC releasing next week! Let’s read all about it here together in the blog post.

  6. Doubt it will change the watered down power that is the knight. If banners still give speed and endurance, the knight is and will be crap. Sounds like a cool killer, but after PTB it feels more like BHVR wanted to give survivors another target to bully.

  9. Distortion was already very beneficial, and I started using it myself a couple weeks ago. Hearing this, I’ll definitely keep using it. I think fear monger is ridiculous, it makes all aura reading perks and exhaustion perks useless for most of the match. I can’t believe it has never been nerfed, but then again, they only nerf survivor perks. What good will the new perk be to see the killer aura when hitting a great, if they have fear monger?

  10. They with them not touching Fogwise & didn't mention anything about the fact Trapper & Hag can't use their traps inside the basement. Fogwise is really gonna hurt those two specifically & the trap change just seems silly like it doesn't stop the fact that they can still put traps above the basement and in places like killer shack doorway so it just seems like a pointless change.

  11. Look I like that the guards
    Appear faster now,but this was the wrong change to make. All they needed to do was make it so survivors cannot see the path that the knight is making while making it. I don't understand why the survivors need to see it the banner is enough counterplay. I'm glad they made the banner take longer to become active though. Maybe the banner Taking longer and guards appearing faster will be good enough but I feel they should of just removed survivors ability to see the green trail at least while the knight is making the path.

  21. I'm sorry Paulie. i don't mean to be a downer but truthfully, I don't like the knight at all. He looks weird and has a weird power. What's with the hair through the helmet? The survivors can see the detection radius and they STILL didn't change that? Not trying to be a jerk but they couldn't come up with anything more knightly than SUPER BUGGY, mostly useless patrolling guards as his power? Super disappointing…
