I’m strapping on my tinfoil hat one more time before the Dead By Daylight anniversary stream tomorrow, Tuesday May 25th at 1PM EST. There’s something sketchy going on with Dead By Daylight and the Steam database, with not one, not two, but THREE new DLC entries for the game! What does that mean? Does it mean something or nothing?
Could it be another license beyond the Resident Evil announcement tomorrow? Could we be finally getting Sydney Prescott as a survivor to unify the Ghostface/Scream license into a full chapter? Chucky from Child’s Play? Pennywise from IT? Finally Candyman?
It’s very likely there’s a simple explanation for the three DLC entries and I’ve just gone whacky with speculation one more time, because the idea of a double chapter sounds like a lot of work for the DBD team to pull off, but I’d be kicking myself if I didn’t at least present the possibility of this as a Tinfoil Talk theory! So let’s discuss!

Two of the App IDs are sequential so those are likely Resident Evil and Resident Evil Cosmetic Pack. The Silent Hill packs appear to be the only ones that are sequential like that. I think the third one is something else. Also the last trailer on the 5 year video is GhostFace. I think you are on to something

Imagine announcing Nemesis and then saying Pennywise is the next killer! Too much to handle!
Here's my prediction. 1 will be the RE chapter. 2 will be a legendary skin pack. 3 Will be a DBD RE edition like they did for stranger things and silent hill.
Well ik Pauline is saying this just for laughs but if you think about it they wouldn't reveal what chapter is gonna be if they don't have something people wouldn't expect even with all those hints so my personal theory is that there is gonna be either 2 killers or some killer no one expected not Mr. X not Nemesis not William not Dimitrescu family maybe Jack Baker but its a big maybe

As much as I'd love to have two chapters or anything like that, I think all 3 dlc's will be Resident Evil. It's a little awkward to have their newest big license and then also have another license but no real hint or buildup. It could be a small licensed cosmetic? But no additional chapter. It kinda steals RE's thunder.
Biggest Surprise would be a new map make it happen DBD
Yo look at the App ID. Top one is 1634040. That’s the resident evil chapter. The two app Id below it a nearly identical 1622940 1622941. They are off one number this suggests that they are related so. They are either IMO legendary skins to go along with the resident evil chapter or they could be 2 survivors to tie in with the scream chapter we never got. What do you guys think?

A Sindey Prescott Paragraph is too good to be true, overestimating the devs capabilities just leads to disappointment, it would be amazing if they had some sort of a surprise in store for us but it's highly unlikely that they would hit us with one, we can have faith that maybe their team has grown enough to take on such a huge task but I'm expecting nothing more than 2 survivors and a killer then again they should give the 24th & 25th killers to Resident Evil in Celebration of the 25th anniversary, in my opinion, giving us our first ever Double killer release

Also. The new Candyman movie is coming in June. I think it would be a missed opportunity if they didn't add him into the game. It would be a huge license for DBD to obtain and it would mean the movie getting hyped for its June release

The moment I saw paulie with that hat, I knew he would pull out the theories. I would be very surprised if they give another license.
That is weird because survivors can be leon, claire etc with skins and then nemesis with skins for other tyrants or summat but then theres more hidden stuff.
I have a feeling that it is going to both be resident evil. A lot of people think we will get 2 killers and 2 survivors. DBD devs might have been greedy and split them into their own parts. Like a current edition and a legacy edition. One that has Ethan and one of the newer killers like Jack Baker while the older is nemesis with an older RE character

I was gonna be joining you anyway, but with less than 23 hours to go, 3 DLC's is pretty intriguing. A new game mode? Like a zombie a survival mode against a hoard of RE style zombies?

I feel like the RE chapter is going to be bigger than people expect. I anticipate two dlcs, one with leon, claire and mr x and one with chris, jill and nemesis and the third slot would be a combo dlc with the main game. I really REALLY feel that would be the best way to do a RE chapter. Multiple maps would also be welcome as we have not had a new map in a year.
I’m hoping for, and hear me out, what if it’s The Witch from Left 4 Dead, and one of the maps from Left 4 Dead, because think about it, the Rift is completely centered around it right now, so what if we get some extra Left 4 Dead content in order to round out Bill being in the game.
when you're talking about the unknown DLCS, are they confirmed DLCs?? my guess was that two of them are for the new Nancy and Jonathan skins and then the other would be the actual 5th anniversary dlc, but who knows. it WOULD BE very very veryyyyyy cool to have Sydney Prescott from Scream. I would be spending all of my money on her hahah!
