  1. I'm a big fan of the video game and watched a couple playthroughs of this board game and it looks pretty solid. 🙂 It seems like they did a good job capturing the basic feel of the video game (i.e. playing hide and seek and tag with meat hooks) but built a reasonably fun looking board game around that concept. So while the video game has player elimination, for example, the board game does not which makes sense since player elimination in a 30-60 minute board game is never a good idea. Likewise the video game has goofy semi-cooperative aspects for the survivors with ambiguous victory conditions, but this board game is very much a team of 4 survivors versus 1 killer with a very clear, simple win condition for both sides. On top of which, the deluxe edition that I ordered has all the non-licensed characters from the video game through I think last fall (everything up to Trickster if I remember right?) and that's great for a fan of the video game like me. 😄

I don't jump on very many Kickstarter games but Level 99 doing this combined with the gameplay videos, the amount of content this comes with, and that I'm really into the video game this is based on made it a no-brainer. I think the only thing I wish this game came with was an official solo mode, but given how the game works I can already envision it won't be all that difficult to find or come up with a decent unofficial solo variant.
