  1. Idk, scamper doesn't seem that strong. You throw down the pallet and keep moving. He can never get a free hit so long as you keep looping. The one thing I'd really fix is the hit box on his slice and dice attack. It seems to have the same flunky hit box as Huntress hatchets; its either pin point accuracy or its the size of a semi truck.

  3. I used to have so much fun playing Chucky when he made it to live. Trying to find unique ways to use slice and dice was some of the most fun I had with the game besides singularity. The amount of fun I had with him slowly died off after they patched 180’s (I fully understand why they did it) but in doing so it almost pushed the player into a flowchart style of play with scamper into slice and dice for free hits and it feels incredibly boring.

I agree with drawing back scamper and improving slice and dice cooldown, actually incentivizing players to be creative with the power instead of being brain dead. Also maybe tweaking rat poison since it seems a bit too strong of an add on and reworking his purples

  4. Taking in these opinions and and from what else ive seen with the community, along with my own personal experiences playing as and against him. Im pretty sure its obvious to everyone that we need to nerf the pig.

  5. Can we get 180s back that what slice & dice more fun to do
Blight has an add-on that can do that so why not the chuckster.

Also some of the addons are kind of Hit Or Miss
    Especially mirror shards it's horrible

Joking obviously great video, I love these more knowledgeable youtube video content your passionate about DBD and the humour is mixed in it makes it a an easy fun watching experience. Love your streams too even though they turning into more of a Baulders Gate 3 Appreciatation Society each day.

  7. The scampering under a pallet is very funny, but it might be healthier if kinda like Wesker he could only vault a pallet while doing a Slice&Dice. He could still get hits at pallets, but not as free.

  8. I suggested this in the Reddit feedback thread; add a 0.5 to 1 second delay before you can scamper a pallet after activating Hidey Ho. The problem now is Chucky just waits for you to drop the pallet, and when you do he uses HH and scampers immediately. If there was a delay before he could do this it would stop this specific thing from happening, instead forcing Chucky to either use HH early in hopes you will drop (which gives you a chance to stun him and remove that ability) or he has to disrespect the pallet for a hit and you stun him and get distance. It's the most logical way to solve the issue without making scamper completely invalidated.

  9. I think they should bring him online with a lot of killers and make his power a little clunky and randomly will poo the bed. I don’t feel like I question my life choices enough while playing him.

  10. I would make it to scampering under a pallet takes significantly longer (kind of how it did in his trailer) but to compensate for it, after chaining dash into scamper you have a much higher turn rate for a short time, like Billy with his chainsaw

  11. Some simple changes that I want is scamper being nerfed along with 180s coming back. Flicks were much more skillful than simply scampering and M1ing. I'd even go as far to say a score event could be added for hitting flicks as him, similar to the new Billy curves, encouraging people to use his power in a more risky way.

  12. I haven't really played against Chucky enough to see how it is from the survivors pov, but I've played him exclusively since he's released and I don't find myself getting a lot of value out of scampering under pallets. I do run enduring spirit fury as my main build so I don't scamper often, but when I do the survivors are usually pretty good at keeping distance. Also, out of the maybe 8 matches I've played against this killer, more than half of them were running the Tiffany skin. Not relevant, but felt like sharing nonetheless.

  13. I am very much against the idea of nerfing pallet scamper speed too much specifically because of the tradeoff scampering introduces–you go faster through the pallet, sure, but at the cost of not actually eliminating the resource. Chucky's scamper takes 1.4 seconds whereas breaking a pallet takes 2.34 seconds. That's a significant amount of distance between the two times, but if the scamper takes too long (I'd say 1.6 or more) it would make scampering not worth it because of how much extra distance it would give survivors to reach another resource which is really damaging considering Chucky's a 4.4 m/s killer.

If my math is correct, that extra 0.2 seconds would give survivors an extra 0.8 meters of relative distance compared to the 1.4 second scamper time. At that pace, without slice & dice, chucky would take an extra 2 seconds to catch up to a survivor, giving them an effective 8 meters of extra safe running distance compared to the 1.4 seconds. Now, obviously survivors can't just run straight, otherwise the slice & dice catches them and downs them…but Chucky's slice & dice has gotten even easier to dodge, and that extra time gives you more ability to get around corners & use windows.

Personally I'm in favor of a cooldown before scampering is possible, probably 2-3 seconds in hidey-ho mode before chucky can scamper just so chucky has to make the choice to activate hidey-ho before the pallet drops and survivors can play accordingly. Additionally, maybe have scamper eat an additional 1-1.5 seconds off the hidey-ho timer to put pressure on chucky to make a decision regarding slice & dice.

If a speed nerf is implemented on scamper, then slice & dice needs to have serious buffs. More turning control & flick potential would be ideal, although you'd have to find a way to unify PC & console. Maybe just a higher cap on chucky's turn radius in slice? Also, give chucky far more control on angle when slice into scamper into slice.

  14. He's the only "top tier" killer that I would genuinely rate as a positive experience. At worst it's MMR I'm shaking my fist at, and on par he's balanced, but strong. I genuinely hope he doesn't get tweaked, from a survivor perspective.

As a killer main, he's alright, kinda boring but again, just by virtue of being Actually Enjoyable, SS rank. Being the shiny rock in a field of turds works when you're in DBD LMFAO

Also, maybe people should just stop 1. predropping pallets, and 2. standing there like a deer in the highway on fentanyl just staring the chucky down, when you know that he can scamper. Same shit as with the Nurse, pallets don't mean shit if you know he has hidey ho, so play around it. People expect to be able to just W+M1 way too much lmfao.

Hard disagree on the slice n dice. On survivor side the hitbox is notoriously forgiving, and on killer side I may as well just play Billy or Blight, their dashes are balanced and fun, compared to flying across the map and getting a hit so long as they are within roughly 180 degrees, with the ability to flick a solid 45 degree minimum, I've not had any problems.

You can see it literally in your video, around 1:53, she is fully behind you and to the right, and Chucky STILL hits her with the power. It's just annoying and turns him into Blight With Built-in Stealth.

  15. I think survivors are crying too much, chucky is 4.4. His power i really like and i am really satisfied with him yet, a good team is undefeated. Let alone the genspeed which is handholding as the role of the survivors itself. And watch they will get favored again because of crying. I've rarely seen a buff to a killer or a good killer that stays good. BHVR is full of rotten potatoes.

  16. Scamper only got a 0.1 second nerf, rather than it being 1.3 seconds in the PTB its now 1.4, which doesn't feel any different, it needs to go to 1.6 or 1.8 to have any noticeable difference.

People are insisting that the 180' flick comes back, however I doubt it will, One thing for Hidey ho I think should be improved is the turn rate when attacking, as compensating for removing it, because it'll allow those with a fast enough hand to make some pretty sharp turns, compared to the usual.

While I did think it was neat seeing chucky's do a full on 180 on a loop to smack you, I feel like the chucky knowing how far to turn his camera in advance as well as having the ability to redirect his slice and dice a bit more when attacking should be fine.

Over all I think his decent, but scamper needs far more to disincentivise its usage whilst keeping its ability to be an option in the first place there.

My biggest suggestion for scamper is that there needs to be a period that hidey ho NEEDS to be active before scampering a pallet can become an option, like 1 second-ish? any shorter or longer wouldn't have much of an effect.

  17. I haven't bought him yet because for me his power looks kinda boring. Wait 20s to run fast, rinse, and repeat. Maybe I have to try him out, but watching his gameplay is kinda uninteresting.

  18. I’d personally make it so that scamper deactivates the power after usage just like slice and dice does because the most annoying part of the scamper in my opinion is him being able to do it multiple times right after eachother which makes looping even harder where as him doing it once not so. I found that because so many Chucky’s are dead set on scampering you are better off just not dropping the pallet and just looping sine slice and dice is hard to use in most loops and with the pallet up they can’t scamper not to mention they are slower then normal killers.
