  1. I do not think they are too strong, but I wonder if the Hoarder Perk will show the chests for the EMPS if it does not already? Perhaps you can keep eyes on the EMP boxes and use that to your advantage. Force them to go to places you want them to be, Herd them around like sheep for the slaughter, Mr. Talent.
    I think it's worth a test, at the very least.

  2. Scott gave a good idea of making picking up EMPs take longer so you can't do it mid chase over and over. if pickup time is 2s make it 4-5s instead. Huge change without changing the power of individual EMPs

  3. They are too strong, but not because you can keep getting them or get them quickly. It's because the disable lasts too long. That's literally the only problem with Singularity. If it's reduced by about 30% of what it is currently, it'll feel a lot more smooth and make the use of EMPs more toward the defensive side, rather than being used offensively.

    The point of the EMP is to remove pressure from Survivors, not APPLY pressure to the killer.

  4. I feel like it’s going to take a role similiar to the Hag, and much like her, if survivors know what they’re doing, the killer gets nothing. At the very least though, he’s more fun to use compared to the Hag, and I wouldn’t be surprised if people run Franklin’s on him just to get EMP’s dropped (I’m assuming they can get dropped, I’ve not tried the latest PTB yet).

    Not very strong, but usable and fun enough killer to use. Will have survivors complaining though like Hag did.

  5. Emps are very accessible to survivor, you need to understand how quick you can pump out balls. If you see a ball thats emped, you can shoot a ball at it to remove it and replace it again. You can plant multiple balls in at different vantages to cover the same gen so they can't emp them all. You need to abuse the teleport in chase. It gives you faster vault, free spirit fury enduring meaning you can attack still while theyre locked in the pallet drop animation and free brutal strength. You have the power in the kit to be 5x more active as this. You need to get out of the wesker mentality of his power vault doesnt do anything at vaults. Teleporting over a dropped pallet??? That's good. Teleporting and clipping into the pallet so that it also breaks? That's stupid good.

  6. Why exactly does the EMP even have to exist? Is this power so strong it needs such a massive way to nerf it?
    Like compare this killer WITHOUT EMP in the game to Nurse

  7. The blue add-ons where it makes the box spawn the E.M.P. Tools take longer and the other that shows aura for 6 seconds when they take an E.M.P. Are probably the best addons sadly. Plus its kinda broken that the survivors can speed up the printing process. By just getting on it like a normal chest.

  8. i love how the devs add an hardcounter to the killer kit so u can counter the unique mechanic
    this really proofs how the game is balanced around bonobo survivors who needs every handholding possible so the game doesn turn into a 5 min match
    all it needs is one smart survivor to run after u and use the EMP
    might as well go and play any m1 killer

  9. I feel like curently vs very good survivors/swf it will feel more like a survivor poser then a killer with how often and easy they team up to emp. Ive seen someone in 1chase get emp’s over 4 times. One chase! They never got to teleport ever…

    I’m still surprised we can’t just stick a pod onto people instantly like walls. (Could be a good purple addon)

  10. I feel like this killer's power in chase is being very underrated by people at the moment. I think with high APM this killer can have a decent skill ceiling as well.

They are replenished too fast to the point they can be spammed, against s competent swf the killer has zero power already, look 3-4 months down the line when those same swf's are accustomed to this killer it's a gg for the swf, they need to make the emp less accessible or motivate suriviors to choose carefully when to use them as apose to the current state which is spam and pick up another enroute to gen/hook save etc
