Going over the recently released developer update where they talk about the changes being given to Legion and Ghostface in the upcoming rework, as well as a change they are making to hemorrhage that sounds really heckin sweet. Just giving my thoughts briefly for the sake of discussion, lemme know what you think of the patch!

  1. the new hemorrhage is nice… that's a good idea from the dev… when they got one I call it aswell…
    but kills=skill is still wrong;
and what define a great person is it's ability to acknowledge when wrong.

  2. With the hemorrhage rework. People have to chose between healing or doing the gen more, can 99 your self and then use resilience(I forget all the survivor perks) to work on the gen faster. So if you find people on a gen who are injured and you have the hemorrhage effect you know they won't instantly heal

  3. The red mixtape is not of the legions members, but from the entity itself, called the fuming mixtape, which does the same as the one red add on from wraith, which lets you see gen progress

  4. Im not concerned about the Legion change, it makes sense as that payoff for the 5th strike will only happen in certain circumstances and rewards skillful gameplay, like hockey does.
Jokes aside, this has boosted my hope in the dev team a bit and hope to see more positive changes in the future along this level.

  5. I think the requirement for 5 hits to down someone is still meh on Legion, since you will rarely have all the survivors close enough to do this (and most won't mend in time for you to hit again).

If this is as difficult as I think it will be, I suggest a change: If all of the survivors are INJURED, rather than being based on chains, the hit is lethal. This would give survivors more of a reason to heal against legion and give legion more likelihood to use this aspect of their power. What do you think? Too OP?

  6. Tofu, you're blind as usual. xD
The Haddonfield pictures aren't just cute visuals. Take another look – the "pretty staircase" picture, for example, is showing you something very important. It pays to pay attention to details and to take a moment to consider what you're looking at.
It's Myers' house, except you know how the door next to the basement is open? Take another look. It's closed off now. This is an important layout change, as it alters the near-infinite we're used to seeing (drop off the balcony, run into the house, up the stairs, through the window, wait for the killer, down the balcony again, up the stairs again, rince and repeat until the killer ragequits).
This also makes the basement potentially wickedly powerful if there's no other entrance or escape near its staircase!

Take another look at the pictures. You can definitely make out some changes that arent just visual. We still don't have enough information, but we have some hints here.

    Thanks for the video!
I wouldn't have heard about the Legion update if you hadn't covered the news! I've been taking a hiatus from DBD due to the SBMM and all the cheaters, but this makes me want to go back and play some Legion when the update hits <3

  7. This update is ESPECIALLY interesting for me. I played a lot of DBD for a while but wound up dropping out when I realized I really didn't enjoy playing killer. The Legion was the one killer I thought was kind of fun to play, but he also felt very weak. The buff to Legion actually makes me interested in playing again.

I know I really shouldn't cause playing killer is really awful if you haven't put in the hundreds of hours to make yourself the god tier killer, but this does make me actually interested again.

  8. I feel like if we forget the artist chapter, devs have been doing a really great job for at least a year now, and it continues. I can't wait to see new ghostface addons, it's a killer that I allways wanted to play but found not very interesting, can't wait to see. I also love the idea of the music changing with mixtapes. Many ppl won't care (except for tryhard survivors who want to recognize the addons on spot) but I really love that kind of "easter-eggs"

  9. They should make a Drop-Leg Knife type addon for the Artist that activates when a survivor gets rid of a swarm of crows. It would make Garden of Rot less pointless. Then you can just trail the survivor while they’re in the shooing animation, then the second they get exposed, you a 10% movement speed boost. If DBD makes the exposed effect longer then 4 seconds, I could see that being a favorite build for people to run.

  10. I stopped using recharge add-ons for Ghostface a while ago, even before they buffed his base recharge. Like sure it's good to be able to use your power more, BUT if you play more selectively and only use it in key moments and understand LOS and can get around the map without being seen… eh they sort of become pointless. Using your power THAT much just means (to me) you are doing something wrong honestly. I personally found the lens add-ons to be some of the best because it increases your standing stalk speed. Like the lean add-on is nice yea, but leaning is already super fast. And you should be lean stalking more if you want to be stalking people. But in those instances where you almost have to stand stalk someone, you 100% want the lens. The yellow one had the added benefit of adding mark time too. IMO makes it much easier to get stalk on survivors which if you ration your power correctly you can just 99 them and then hit them again later.

All that said, I am SUPER excited for both GF and Legion changes. I enjoy both of these killers and it seems like they will feel a lot better after the update.

  11. Are they going to come back and revise the ring girl? Because her video tape system is fucking useless and her stealth is just a diet version of wraith. She needs a complete overhaul, like god damn I love her movie but she just isn't fun to play.

If she catches you with a teleport near a tv she should instant down you or something. Give people a reason to be afraid of tvs and to mess around with tapes. Am I the only one whose frustrated by the lack luster implementation of Samara/Sadako? She needs more time in the oven. She ain't done and I'm kinda frustrated they are moving on.
