Off the Record is EXTREMELY busted… | Dead by Daylight PTB

Read more Dead by Daylight ➜ https://deadbydaylight.mgn.gg

Near-guaranteed free escape in endgame, long anti-tunnel defense and potentially one of the best altruism-enabling perks in the game. If Off the Record stays like this, Killers will literally have to tunnel (at least one hit off hook) to avoid dealing with it for 80 seconds. Shoutout to Hens333 and his squad for playing with us to showcase it.

  1. Should def be lowered to 40 seconds at minimum, but this will be lucky break all over again. Tons of outcry how OP it is, it'll get nerfed twice. Literally no one will use it outside of quests and meme builds, and it'll be buffed because no one uses it and escapes.

  2. BHVR be like "We noticed kill rates were lower than we wanted them to be, so we made pallets break 0.3 seconds faster and gave survivors infinite health"

  4. they should just make borrowed time a personal perk (increase your endurance time after being unhooked by 15 seconds or so) and remove endurance from off the record for obvious reasons

  5. Why nerf DS and make a way better DS than it ever was can be activated every unhook and can’t be played around by just slugging and waiting however most other things are good.

Also why tf does endurance stack

  6. I don't think the fact u can be hit with off the record and then still be able to tank another hit with dead hard even though u are in deep wound already makes sense.
If u get hit once whether it's DH or OTR u should go down if u take another hit. I feel like that will be way too strong. Hope they nerf it somehow

  7. DBD doesn’t reward the killer for playing nice and spreading the hooks yet they don’t want camping or tunnelling why (if playing to win) would I want to be in a 1v4 vs a 1v3 when the 1v3 is objectively better and the 1v4 has no benefits

  8. Dude, the problem for me in solo q was it was it was often just myself if not only one other person doing gens, and since that makes you likely to be the first found and tunneled out, I started spending the first minute or two hiding like the other p*ssies until one of them got found instead (corrupt is a waste of a perk slot if you get me in your game, you don't need it any more lol). all off the recorrd does is make me wanna play like they do the entire match if it's looking like a bad startf or me. But at least I might not first hook minecraft it if I'm the first hooked any more so there's that…

If even you have trouble just getting 1 kill after all that tedious work then I made the right decision to never touch killer again evenf or friendly farm since last november or december. It's literally a role that is not an option in the game as far as I'm concerned. i wouldn't play a killer in dbd any more to save my life, and it's even impacted my willingness to try it in other game slike this and how I feel about it before the first time doing it even… this game gave me f*cking ptsd when it comes to playing the side of any game where I'm alone against other humans…

  9. Isn’t dead hard just more powerful now? Before if dead hard was used correctly and the killer swung and missed someone, they could recover and maybe catch them, but with new dead hard the survivor gets a speed boost when hit and can probably go to a new loop

  10. Ya know the nice folks at BHVR need to just accept that they no longer have any clue what to do with DBD & let the some or all of the Fog whispers take a more active approach to helping get the game to a better state before it gets too out of hand. I feel like if we had otz & panda & some other sit down & write up a list of changes they'd like to see in DBD & get those through to the actual game we'd all be a happier & more unified community of gamers just tryna have fun with a game we love dispite its devs disconnection from what most of us can say are its bigger issues

  11. I still like that the destroyed borrowed in exchange for baseline BT (not too bad of a change honestly) but then added this monstrosity of a perk. Like no more BT but actually, just kidding, infinite bt but on a different perk.

  12. to be fair now, with a proper gen regression / slow down build you can make the gens like 4 minutes long to solo so you do get at least a little bit of time to wait out whatever bs endurance the survivors get lmao

  13. Ah yes it’s op for the average survivor player due to the fact that a 4 man pro survivor team with over 100 wins in a row use it well. That is not the average match a killer will enter 🤦‍♂️

  14. I have to be honest this patch would be better without perk changes, at least in my opinion. Just think about it, gen regress will be now crazy but you also need to hit survivors 5 times so it seems like a very boring meta.
