  1. man, the problem isn't even the range itself, the problem is the combination with dead man/starstruck. I mean they still op, but those perks along make it impossible to win.

  2. On the one hand: are these add-ons fair to go against as a survivor? No. On the other hand: does it feel really good to be able to not get bullied as the killer after countless matches of being looped to oblivion while I'm playing M1 killers, just from switching to Nurse and equipping these add-ons? Yes. Yes, it feels amazing.

  3. as a nurse main who plays without add ons most of the time (unless i can tell its a sweaty swf, then i use double recharge or yellow recharge and wooden horse), i can safely say that the range add ons are busted. i could probably win with my eyes closed with those if i wanted to, cause no matter how many mistakes i make or how many times i get juked, one blink and the play they made is useless😂

  4. it have to be nerfed, i dont care if is skill rewarding, that just means is a unbalanced killer, as survivor i found the game become more fun when the nurse was disabled, it was a better game then

  5. I knew this was a bug. I've faced a particular nurse player on console running a similar build and they think their gods gift to the dbd community every time they steamroll me and my team. It's just so overkill, idk how anyone can think this is fair.

  6. Dev team being bunch of clowns yet again

I wonder if they even realize they have released the killer which is hilariously unfun to go against with addition to MMR meaning 80% of them are God Nurses.

It's a blast seeing helplessly your team dying around because they don't have deadhard.

  7. inb4 "Hens you're a cracked player ofc you will dominate with nurse, you have like 60k hours and 50k of those are probably on nurse alone!"

I have played around 150ish hours of nurse, got to rank 1 without addons and only 2 perks (shadowborn and BBQ) and I agree 100% here on Nurse. Double range addons right now are busted and make nurse feel way too strong. In my humble opinion, Nurse doesn't even need addons to perform way beyond the capabilities of most killers (except blight).

    Great video Hens! <3

  8. Id actually to see a comp survivor team vs double range.nurse and a regular nurse with no range, maybe a comp team can do better against double range but yea in these 2 matches against a bunch of random survivors, regardless of add ons, both teams had a hard time

  9. Why the fk. Would the devs buff THE BEST KILLER in the game. Are they legit brain dead.

Hey why don't they go the whole way and buff blights already bloated kit also!

  10. I don't agree with the edge of the map being effective against a nurse in slowing her down. But yes the addons are busted. Nurse has tools that are literally the only thing on the killer side that is legitimately op in my opinion 🤣.

  11. I don't think they understand what is going on TBH, She is not just faster when blinking her new max range, she is just faster in general even on 2 second charged blinks (the default charge-range without add-ons).

If it only affected the now longer charged blinks nobody would bat an eye cause that is understandable cause and effect, but she just gets faster over the whole line.

  12. Personally I fell like it’s fine, I stopped playing killer a while back and would consider myself to be a survivor main. The killer role should be in control of the game and it should be up to them to mess up, not the survivors imo.

  14. I hadn't played against a sweaty nurse In awhile until the past few days ago they started being in my games and they all had range addons, I felt literally impossible to do anything. I used to still enjoy playing against sweaty good nurses but I didnt understand why it felt so impossible this time around. It was literally so bad I changed my opinions on playing against nurse and I just killed myself on first hook cause I didnt feel like playing against it. Since I'm also p3ing my survivors with flans, I didnt have dead hard which made it even worse. It makes sense now learning about this fact and it's quite sad for other weak killers too.

  15. The Nurse's mains should add a post about it to BHVR. It's a joke that killers like Nurse or Blight has that strong addons and others Killers has a shit in addons.

  16. Okay this makes so much sense, I played against a nurse recently and thought I was just playing like hot garbage but they had double range and I could not react in time at all she was just on top of me instantly. I'm amazed this is intended. I actually love playing against nurse but double range is just not fun. Makes me a bit sad that the devs don't seem to have seriously play tested this at all levels

  17. some of the comments here are wild. I mean, I guess any discussion is a good one so long as it's civil and fruitful. I for my part think this should've never been brought back. I also think nurse stun+fatigue should still be a thing, as it did reward you for the exceptionally good play of getting a stun ag ainst a nurse. But, seeing Nurse's state right now, they should really consider nerfing pig above all else

  18. I think on a good nurse like any killer good addons and good killers can be a deadly matchup. However not everyone is good at killer or nurse and its rare if I ever get a nurse but when I do its 50/50 of them being great or crap. I think the addons are good but I wouldn't call them insane.

  19. I agree 💯 the Nurse needs changes especially the her add-ons. However, I'm not going to watch the game play part of this video because I can't stand watching strong killer game play with strong add-ons and perks. It's BS.

  20. Why is everyone scared of the new perk changes? They nerfed lucky break and parental guidance for God sakes. Two good perks that I would love to run but now don't go long enough. The only people who are scared of these changes are killer mains so maybe you should grow up.

  21. Both of your matches had identical results, given you eliminated both with just a single gen done. I've used the range add-ons but I still find I get blocked a lot by geometry or other obstacles without the plaid blink marker add on to help

  22. I loved playing against a nurse even if I get rolled. Especially a good nurse. But recently, I wasn’t aware of this bug nor this intended rework. I still play in low mmr despite having 60% chance against good nurses, I can say for sure that this really will dishearten new survivors rather than encourage them to enjoy the game. I’m not complaining as a surv main(which I’m really not), but it’s a subjective opinion. They justify this for new players but in reality, it will have the opposite effect. What more in high mmr. Sure Nurse has low kill rate for new killers, but that was the point anyway. They’re hard killers to master but definitely rewarding when they are. Survivors, although 4 of them, have their own techniques to master, looping is hard. Getting used to it is. It takes a while to do so before survivors can last a gen or two against any killer. I say this playing both sides. There’s really nearly anything advantageous on both sides. The only time a killer would get rolled is on a 3-4 man swf, that’s a given.

  23. It sounds to me that BHVR is falling for common pitfalls of data driven decision making. Like you mentioned, the kill rate for nurse is low, but that isn’t the whole story!

Here are some common pitfalls in data driven decision making:

Pitfall No. 1: Not Using Any Data
Pitfall No. 2: Assuming More Is Better
Pitfall No. 3: Not Asking the Right Questions
Pitfall No. 4 Failing to Connect the Dots
Pitfall No. 5: Focusing on the Wrong Metrics

They’re falling for maybe 3, and definitely 4 and 5. They’re patting themselves on the back for being “data driven”, but failing to follow through on accuracy and comprehensiveness. The data they capture needs to tell the entire story, otherwise their “data driven” decisions will not solve the core issues, and will cause more issues. This is getting old and this company needs to learn how to interact with their data properly, so their decisions actually solve problems instead of creating them.

  24. This does explain my recent nurse encounters. I assumed they were just that level of cracked because I had almost no chance of outplaying them, but they were blinking a good full tile nearly instantly and it didnt click that something was off.

  25. Nurse should get some type of rework to her kit. I don't understand why she should get access to the most broken ability through doing nothing,
    -Oni has to collect blood
-Dredge needs to hit/charge up his power
-Pig needs to down to put on RBT
-Plauge needs to infect survivors to get corrupt vomit etc.
BHVR are so bad at balancing killer so they try to make killers movementspeed lower to midigate their insane power.
Even if you were to give Nurse a Oni treatment to her kit, she'd still be busted af because of the nature of her ability. Nobody can do what Nurse is able to and that doesn't
mean it's something good really. And now that Dead Hard will be reworked most likley making it not very strong, Nurse is going to be the most frustrating thing to face.
    Nurse need to dethrone 0__o

  26. Range add ons are pretty much the main justifiable reason for Dead Hards existence, and why DH is used so often. The fact the devs don't understand the issue with the add ons, worries me about the upcoming perk changes.

  27. This is the problem with the Devs just looking at the average statistics. Nurse in the hands of a casual is not the same killer in the hands of an experienced player. It's similar to how they had to balance Overwatch on PC and Console completely differently. Window is OP on PC but not on console, yet Bastion was OP on console but not on PC. They can't just blanket buff a 49.25% winrate nurse and say she's weak.

A killer that circumvents the space creating mechanics for Survivors and has high mobility will never be weak. Good video Hens, the double range Nurse looks pretty terrifying, even for a bully SWF.
