  1. Lights out wasn’t great but I’d give a straight up Horror Mode 10/10 in terms of potential. Hopefully they come back to it later because it would be a waste not to have DBD embrace its roots a little more.

  2. My favorite thing about both 2v8 and Chaos Shuffle is that because builds are pre-determined, there’s little in the way of preparations. It reduces stress and makes things more casual to basically go into a match knowing everyone is more or less on the same playing field and that you don’t have to (because you technically can’t) adjust based on what you expect to play against or what you see in a lobby as killer. Not having to worry about this type of stuff makes it so much easier for me to play and keep playing, personally.

  3. Wierd. Never had to wait 20 min for a Killer match in 2v8. First day it was max 14 min. Now its 6 min.

I rather have 2v8. More fresh and i never had that much fun in a while both as a survivor and Killer. Chaos shuffle is just the same boring 1v4. If you fuck up, the game is fucked up.

In 2v8, nothing of that matters. There is a reason why the normal 1v4 que times are long. Because 2v8 is more fun for the majority.

With Chaos shuffle, its nothing new and fresh. I just can’t believe how Chaos shuffle was more fun than 2v8. People are like afraid of something new.

But its just my opinion. 2v8 is over the top the best, fresh and fun gamemode. Never had so much fun since i started to play the game.

  4. As fun as 2v8 is, it gets real stale real fast, especially if you're getting the same 2 killers essentially every match. i know it's still early says for 2v8, but i do hope they expand on it and hopefully bring in licensed characters, if not then i'll still be happy regardless as im honestly getting fed up of seeing Huntress and Hillbillly (nearly) every match

  5. My biggest issue with Chaos Shuffle, and the reason I never played it much when it was around, is the fact that the game doesnt tell you what the perks you're getting are in a safe space. I don't know perks very well, so every game I got perks that I had no idea what they did, and that was the majority of perks in my games. In order to see what perks I had, I would have had to check them in the pause menu in game, and I don't want to spend several seconds standing around as I read my perks at the start of a match. I would much prefer if Chaos Shuffle showed you the perks you got in the lobby, so that I could have a chance to look at what I have before I get in the game.

  6. I like 2V8 a lot, my only issue as survivor is not being able to effectively utilize my class because other survivors arent staying in their lane. Like guides and scouts literally racing me, the medic, to get unhooks instead of doing their jobs, and then getting steamrolled because of it.

  7. Honestly caos schuffle was for me the worst and dumbest mode
As said, it literally keep the same game, but it just throws any perk at you, which you can do usually, if what you want is a non-meta build you can do it, if what you want is to play with a random build, there are sites that throws random builds at you, so it's the most useless one, okay that it might have a good point that is the fact that who you are playing against will also have random/non-meta builds, but what i want is to feel different for me, which caos schuffle can't do.

  8. I think i was of the few people that really liked lights out, what i would like to be addressed tho is
    1) that gens didnt started already repaired
    2) no red stain on killer
    3) have some way of muffling or adding the hag mute effect to some stuff

  9. I actually think the classes and killer abilities kinda ruin 2v8. I would understand if they have to ban like 80% of the perks but not being able to make your own build is really boring and stale.

  10. I'm not saying that this is towards anyone in specific but I feel like most people don't understand what's the devs said in their stream.

The reason I say this is due to someone telling me they doubt that the devs will add skull Merchant into 2v8 mode due to "her power."

Because of how she can insta down survivors with her drones. However, I feel like the people who say that never played Skull Merchant long enough to understand what her power actually does.

Because if you play her correctly then you'll know that the survivors can actually crouch in her drones and not get hit with the claw trap. The only way for her to instadown you is if you have all three claw traps latched on to you for her to do that.

If you have one or two then it's not going to instadown you. Which I don't see why people don't understand that.

Another thing I don't understand is how people say that they doubt a certain Killers will be added into 2v8 mode. Yet the devs themselves literally said that all killers will be available when the mode is fully implemented.

  11. Chaos shuffle being received so good shows that this game is meant to be played casually. If everyone stopped sweating and trying to win the game is suddenly enjoyable. The community is whats ruining this game, the devs are actually doing a very good job. Its physically impossible to balance for both casual and competitive, this is why we need a ranked and a casual queue

  12. Not sure if cause I'm a killer main but honestly hated everything about 2v8 (including never being able to start a game as killer). Only positive is made me appreciate the pick up/hook mechanics of normal game mode.
