  3. If they did Terminator, I'd think they'd also do Sarah Conner as a survivor — she's as iconic as Ripley. And she's in Fortnite, so she would be on the table. Meanwhile, any video game license would have access to the entire IP (unlike movies, that can complicated), if there's any iconic survivor or map, they wouldn't do just a killer. I don't see them doing Big Daddy without a survivor like Elizabeth or Booker, and probably a Rapture map as well. No way Bioshock would be just a paragraph.

  4. Is Jason really THAT much of a "bigger" license than Chucky and Alien? They're all extremely iconic franchises with numerous sequels and TV series that have been successful across the world. Both old people and kids who have never seen a horror movie know who Chucky and the "Alien" are. They've heard of Jason, too, but probably are just as likely to mix him up with Michael Myers or any other masked stalker type. The point is valid, though, that they don't seem to be hyping this killer chapter as hard as you'd think they would for Jason. Then again, it's also pretty early, though, so who knows. Predator is inevitable, just a matter of when. Glad to see Disney is working well with Behavior, that opens possibilities up for more IPs. Hopefully we see a collab with WB, which could lead to countless options.

  6. As much as I want Springtrap in DBD, I honestly think Art The Clown would be a great candidate for the killer only chapter since the terrifier movies are entered around him. And for those who say he isn’t scary enough….. let’s be honest here, DBD hasn’t been a scary game for a very long time, so why does it matter.

    Another thought I had for a license killer was Valak from the Conjuring universe. If this was a possibility I doubt it’d be the solo killer update because for me I’d want it to be a full chapter, a killer being Valak/The Nun, Sister Irene as the survivor and maybe the abbey that the movie takes place in as the map. I think it’d be cool but Idek if it’d be possible or even a thought for DBD.

  13. Something that would be VERY cool would be a The Crow chapter. Instead of taking Brandon Lee’s likeness, they could go to James O’Barr and create an evil “crow” with and original character as the killer of a solo chapter. If they’d want a survivor, they could get adult Sarah from City of Angels.
    And map, if they’d wanna go there, could be Top Dollars club from the original movie.

  16. Here's a little theory of mine. Let me preface this by saying, I'm a big FNaF fan. And as much as I would love to see the FNaF crew in DbD, there's not much they can do there outside of a basic M1 killer that can teleport around the map.

    So, thinking about this, when you bring FNaF to DbD, you want to bring all 4 animatronics, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy. You could make an argument about Fredbear (Golden Freddy), but he'd be just a Freddy recolor. Now, Scott says they're gonna announce a COLLAB with someone on August 6, the same day the Castlevania PTB is probably dropping, and the day the devs will probably host a stream to hype it up. So yes, they could announce FNaF coming as a March Chapter, but like you said, it's a real long shot.

    But you know what BHVR does talk about in their livestreams a lot ? Cosmetics. They LOVE talking about upcoming collections. And, who's got 4 members, and comes running at you kinda like the FNaF animatronics ? Legion. I am 90% sure that on August 6, they will announce that Legion is getting a FNaF skins collection. Nice way to get the characters in, not burn a chapter slot, and get way more money than they would releasing a chapter or paragraph (because let's face it, 8$ for a chapter, or 15$ for skins, the maths are pretty obvious on this one)

  17. Jason and Art are by far my most wanted killers followed by Pennywise . Predator would not excite me all that much . but i could see some fun stuff being possible with him .

  22. Just wanna say this because I’ve never seen anyone say this, but my DREAM Licensed Chapter for DBD would be Outlast. I just think that it’s one of the most iconic horror games and that it would fit so perfectly. Miles Upshur would be the survivor and either Chris Walker or some form of the Walrider could be the killer. I’ve seriously wanted this since I started playing in early 2019 but I still have hope for it!!

  24. Am I the only one who wants to see a The Forest x Dead By Daylight collab? Imagine having Eric Leblanc as a survivor with perks related to trees. And having Megan (the mutant) as the killer. And maybe some in game items like the artifacts that repel/attract cannibals.

  28. A weird collaboration that I'd like too see…
    A chapter created with the help of Guillermo del Toro. He would design the looks of the killer and the map. Heck, maybe he would even use Norman Reedus as an "actor" for the survivor.

  33. I think predator is the most likely not to mention that alien was released almost a year ago 2023 29th of august. So it would not shock me to see predator being released

    Personally id prefer pennywise hes just a very iconic killer who could have a very interesting power. But i agree i think its predator

  37. The reason Disney likes to work with behavior is there both huge C0mmuni$+ companies, dead By daylight is the most communi$+ video game company i've ever played. That being said, out of all those Id like to see jason.
