Slug builds already make survivors hate the game and the killer but some groups really can’t handle the Salty Slugger Pyramid …

  1. I love the idea of Nurse's Calling in a slugging build. Any time the perk is activated, by definition you know at least 2 survivors are there, and at least one is able to be downed unless the heal resolves.

  2. I do agree slug builds are boring, lame, and so on. I don't mind playing them as I get to play the game, but when it's me being slugged then ugh, it's pain, especially if it takes a while for your team to get you. I've had a slug game where I was just on the floor bleeding out from full. Is it the killer's fault? No, they shouldn't make it personal, this is just a gameplay style that requires people to speak out to the devs more. I just find it curious they were willing to add more to the slugging idea.

Also, personally I really like doing this with Dredge. Nothing like using Knock Out during nightfall and teleporting around, using the add-on to make all lockers slam and open makes it a little more disorienting sound wise as well. Everybody gets blindness and you get undetectable, making finding a pickup even harder.

  3. I play both sides and I dont think that player was in the wrong or being unreasonable at the end. A slug build is unfun and you have no counter to it at all, or at least this one there was no counter. Look at how little points you got in fact, not even the game wants to reward you for winning via slugging. This has about the same amount of fun as getting hard tunneled or camped which also has little to no counter.

  4. Survivors have so many perks that make slugging hard to play if someone hates going against slugging they could simply just run a anti slug build it's really that simple

  5. Im here to request an anti heal artist build, the build is as follows:

    Leverage
    Blood Echo
    Barbeque
    Nurses calling

Add ons: Severed Hands, Thorny Nest

Its so fun to interrupt heals with the build and it utilizes leverage blood echo, which are 2 underrated perks imo.

  6. Assert dominance. And you really showed it, Red. Love how survivors need to have the game go as they want or "it's not fun". Like you said, it's no one's job to make sure either side has fun, but generators were flying and there was no complaint about that

  8. Liked you said, one side should not be responsible for the others fun, I'm a killer main and every time I do something survivors don't like I get the "you shouldn't do this, that toxic" like the game have some hidden rules, if I'm getting gen rush I can't say anything, but if I tunnel cuz they are better I'm a noob… Toxic and strategy are different, If you want to slug and the game let you what's the problem?

  9. Hey @RedGamingGears I actually have myself on VODs giving killers kills and hook stages during this event. Don't know why you make these accusations that are demonstrably not true of me when you have access to my twitch handle. If you're going to farm content off people you should at least cover their names so your loser fans don't come and harass them for no reason. No side is responsible for either sides fun this is true; but this is also during the event where most people are trying to play for fun and farm. I stand by everything I said in the video. You might not be responsible for others fun- but you shouldn't be surprised when people aren't happy with you either. The icing on the cake is I'm actually a killer main and the only time I have to resort to playing like this is in actual high MMR 4man SWF teams. It's a lot easier to act indignant when you're playing the killer in this situation, but I guarantee you would also quickly disconnect if you were a solo queue in this match. Made For This is definitely not fun to play versus, and I don't endorse stacking Made For This with other speed ups like Hope or Break Out and would also call those toxic. Very telling that you call "that new perk" not fun while also absolving yourself of griefing. Trying to cover up the laughter is very disingenuous, you should at least owe up to gameplay that you know you're doing intentionally. I have no problem being morally consistent with my views; meanwhile you're clearly getting off on playing like this. I never hide my name while playing because I keep my name attached to what I do online.
