Remember The End Game Mori Test? #dbd

Dead by Daylight tested an end game system where after all survivors were downed they would automatically go into the memento mori animation and the match would conclude. It definitely wasn’t perfect, but getting to see a mori at the end of games was awesome. Most likely they have scrapped the system entirely though (which also included built-in unbreakable for survivors) due to the fact that it was largely unpopular at the time.

  1. I remember that so many problems with it came from people playing nurse blight and oni and just downing everyone in less than a minute. Mainly nurse. Okay fine just nurse

  2. I hated this so much. What a way to make a game that was exciting due to its unpredictability, completely predictable. It took away all nerves of last minute clutches, happen to escapes. Imagine crawling to the exit gate, about to leave, but instead insta die because some Urban Evading Claudette on the other side of the map got downed…. I am so HAPPY this wasn’t implemented

  3. i know the issue with this was people ending games with no hooks and just downs, but i think they coupd bring this back with maybe a team unbreakable cooldown for survivors and a hook requirement to get this cool mori finisher for killer
