Thanatophobia could use a buff | Dead by Daylight

Thanatophobia is a really bad perk, even on Legion. You have to combine it with Dying Light or other slow-down perks for the progress penalty to do much of anything. The perk could use a buff of some kind.

  1. It's fine. The point of the perk isn't the slowdown itself, it's to make survivors want to heal/cleanse rather than stay healthy, especially vs legion where you shouldn't heal

  2. I've got a question after doing some math on Never Sleep Pills, if you wouldn't mind sating my curiosity. At first I thought that even though it does have use in later stages of frenzy with the stacking speed, that the duration was an overall net positive for the killer- but after doing math I struggle to see the use-case of pills.

4.6m/s for 20s is the speed & duration of Legion during Feral Frenzy with pills.
    4.6m/s – 4.0m/s = 0.6m/s * 20s = 12m of distance gained

5.2m/s for 10s is the speed & duration of Legion during Feral Frenzy without pills.
    5.2m/s – 4.0 m/s = 1.2m/s * 10s = 12m of distance gained

Each hit at base though gives Legion 0.2m/s up to 0.8m/s extra movement speed, which means that each hit gives Never Sleep 4m extra distance while it gives the base legion 2m. With an addon you can increase this to 0.3m/s and 1.2m/s respectively, for 6m and 3m per hit.

You gain the exact same amount of distance except you take a lot longer to catch up to a given survivor, where they might be able to utilize more resources in that time because of the lost distance you would've had if your normal movement speed was there- and in general even though you get more distance out of your power in the long run, you still spend more time on average working through resources.

What use-cases do you see for pills as a p100 Legion player? I think I remember you talking about it at one point on stream but I only recently did all the calculations necessary to see that I personally don't value it highly as an addon, though I'm uncertain if I'm just viewing/using it wrong.

  3. The beginning of the video reminded me of my loneliness, but still a good video.
I've used this build before, but just like the Legions power – you either stomp on the survivors making their lives miserable, or either they make you feel miserable

  4. Honestly Id remove the effect where it's not full power until every survivor survivor is injured I wouldn't buff it to where it was because it was problematic but it's too weak to run now like unless you're like running an entire anti heal build thana is shit.
