In this Dead by Daylight video i will be showcasing a few survivor matches that i played with with a friend on a brand new account. The MMR or SBMM for these games were a bit odd to me considering i was on a brand new account but let me know what you think. Hopefully you guys enjoy this video and don’t forget to subscribe!

  1. I think games against new killers can be awkward for experienced players, sometimes, in the sense they do such random things you can’t always predict. You get accustomed to certain plays.

This brought back good memories of easy games with killers whiffing into thin air most of the time 😂

  2. I think you're right in saying MMR is very weird. A Larry with Denied Requisition Form as Trizzy's third game? That's either wild or a very lucky Singularity. At least the Trapper from the first game wasn't me XD

  3. All of these games were clearly low MMR. It doesn't seem like it exists, because you are at the bottom of the MMR, probably on your main account as well. Gain some wins, you'll see a drastic difference and none of those goofy plays you've been making will work.

  4. I think mmr works as intended. The killers you faced were all pretty new and maybe the best thing matchmaking could find. I think there are not as many really new players to always find one for every game.

People like f.e. the Singularity were pretty new to this killer and, as you said, probably just watched a tutorial. When you first time a killer your mmr is a bit lower than your normal one and he was probably the lowest searching on the server rn. So the most fitting in the eyes of the system.

These are just theories tho. I wish we could confirm it by f.e. seeing the personal mmr rating.

  5. Mmr is definitely real there’s just a lot of people in high and low that shouldn’t be there. The mmr soft cap is somewhat easy to reach so less experienced players can end up there and be going against players with quadruple their hours. With low mmr, some people afk or throw games to smurf. I like to play wraith and demogorgon, but I usually play wraith during events whereas demo is my normal killer main. When I play events I let survivors go a lot and the difference in mmr between my demo and wraith is palpable. Right now it’s an endless cycle of going against bad players and feeling bad because I’m stomping them so I give them chances and let them go.

  6. I played dbd for the first time, but to me its definitely that most players of the game are pros not cuz of some MMR suff, but most likely played a lot, or players that were there since the stone age
