The Dredge is the new Killer in Dead by Daylight. It can teleport to lockers and to its husk. Survivors also become trapped in darkness for a period of time. Enjoy this gameplay commentary as the Dredge in Dead by Daylight from my recent Twitch livestream!

  1. Worth-it perks: yes
    Skill ceiling: Mid/High
    Chase potential: Low/Mid
Map traversal: Highly agile map movement.
Add-ons: Not sure for now but few good Addons
    (No busted ones).
Stealth: Low (but not absent )
    Map dependence: High.
    Hook scenarios: Low potential.
    Fun to play as: Depends
    (Meaning fun for some)
    Fun to play against: Yes.
Overall power: Probably high B tier.
My opinions so pls don't attack 🙂

  2. I love this killer so much!!
I love the anti-loop especially because it's sort of what I envisioned for what trickster was (sounds weird I know)
Because of the teasers I thought Trickster was gonna be a computer glitch or something that could rewind its position in chase or something lol

  3. BHVR after releasing Sadako and nobody playing her: Lets make her but again with faster teleporting, a proper chase power, enjoyable chase music, effective addons and a tertiary background ability that actually does something (as opposed to the insta mori that happens 1 in 20 games)

  4. I have to disagree with making the killer 4.4 cause the killer is just a better version of Sadako.

has semi decent anti loop has better map traversal than Sadako but as the video shows some places have deadzones with no lockers so depending on the map you're a basic m1 killer with semi good anti loop.

I think that they should slightly increase the traversal speed of lockers far from you similar too how they increased Sadakos manifestation from the ptb, and add a few more lockers and then he'd be a decent killer b tier if not then high c bottom of b imo.

  5. I would honestly rather the killer remain 4.6 and lose the braindead zoning tool. Make it so you don’t leave a Remnant behind until after you teleport to a locker so you can’t just have an on-demand Hag trap whenever you want. Zoning killers are not fun to play against and 4.4 killers are not fun to play as.

  6. Survivors with good map awareness should be able to mitigate the locker TP (the first survivor should NOT have run to the left because lockers always spawn there), but this power is definitely not nothing, especially with being able to cancel the TP. You can esssentially threaten 2 places at once, MORE if there's an unlocked locker nearby. He takes my favorite part of Hag with less setup! I do think the slowdown he gets means that this mindgame is a bit less powerful than it would seem, the survivor should probably try to be within equal distance of moving you and the pallet.

  7. I honestly hope BHVR doesn't nerf this killer. The last several killers to be released have been underwhelming. Each killer should feel imposing and feared, not "oohhh another basic killer to smash with a pallet for days!" Also it sucks to see killers strengths determined by pallets and loops.
